Mike has always been like a real brother to me, even though I have a sibling, which is Alexis, A.K.A the pest; he is more of a sibling then what Alexis will ever be. She's my polar opposite who looks a lot like me and is two years younger to me but, people often assume that she is the older one since she acts more mature than I act. As if they know the she-devil.

When I was born, apparently Mike was in love with me, although he was just a year older than my newborn self at that time, my parents never fail to tell me that how attached he was to me, and wouldn't leave me alone for a second. That bond just grew us closer as time passed.

I have always loved him, but these past days he's annoying the shit out of me.

"Seriously Sia, accept it, your theme is gonna flop the party." He said, munching on the last pop tart which was supposed to be my evening snack.

"I find it hard to believe, my birthdays are always amazing." Snatching the last bite out of his hand I pop the pop tart in my mouth.

"Yes, like your last birthday when Wade crashed it." He got up from the couch he was sitting on and started browsing through my DVD collection.

"Don't even remind me about it." I shook, getting chills thinking about that night.

Last summer, Wade Shaw party crashed my birthday with his fellow friends, Orla and Fat-fire. And before you ask, Fat-fire is not that girl's real name. I'm just being a bit descriptive about her; she is literally fat and has a metaphorical fiery mouth. Orla on the other hand is an amazing girl with a beautiful face and personality. So, I don't understand why she would date a guy like Wade, who is personally, my worst nightmare.

He has made my life a living hell; in fact he just might be the devil's spawn. He's the 'it' guy of our school though, popular jock, who is bad-ass and has a nice ass, but for me, he's nothing but a pain in the ass.

So when he crashed my birthday last time, 'because I didn't invite him', I knew my party was doomed. The theme and everything was perfect what with themed birthday parties being a compulsion in my family, like seriously it is one of our family traditions. My family is huge, the kind with a big family tree from one of the harry potter movie series; who as usual was the majority of my party population, add some close friends and a few acquaintances and the house was packed for a lot of fun.

But as I said it was doomed.

After Wade gatecrashed, he mixed some heavy dose of liquor in the punch, and all hell broke loose, Mia and Blake got intoxicated and started kissing each other as if their life depended on it, (by the way let me remind you they weren't dating at that time but had feelings for each other). The scary part was that Blake also had his flavor of the month at that time that saw the scene and was so outraged that she went ape-shit crazy and started smacking the piñata with the bat. Seeing the candies pouring out of the piñata, the kids in my house gathered around and started filling their mouths with the candy as if it was the first time they were eating that shit. Mike tried to calm down the situation as that was something he usually does, but was shushed by Blake's flavour of the month kissing him; which I'm assuming was out of jealousy, with Blake not giving her the attention she so desperately wanted.

And suddenly just like that I was out of protection and open to be bitch-mouthed by Fat-fire on my birthday, as all my possible allies were busy making out. Later on when I thought no one would put me out of the misery of facing Fat-fire, Wade suddenly started playing some punk-rock music which could make people deaf for days, causing the police to turn up as we supposedly live in a quiet neighborhood.

The adults in my house you ask? Let's just say adults don't act like adults when they are drunk.

And so my party was ruined and when school reopened, I was teased endlessly by Wade on how crazy my family was.

"We can't have Wade crashing in again, Mike! You need to come up with an anti-crashing solution." I started rubbing my head furiously in a way to calm down and not think about a disastrous party.

Mike sat down next to me and said, "Don't worry, we'll come up with something." I looked up at him and smiled. "Th-''

"But on one condition" He raised his finger, "The gang gets to decide the theme."

"What? No!"

"Suit yourself; don't blame us if Wade turns up at this party." He smiled, knowing I had no option left."

"UGHH! FINE! Go call Mia and Blake, and tell them how I lost the battle" I glared at him.

"I was just planning to do so." He grinned and got up to call the losers, to celebrate the joy of their victory.

I rubbed my forehead and fell on my bed backwards, not enjoying the loss and at the same time praying to God, to kill Wade.

Guess I really can't convince people.
