"Stop following me, kid," I said while on my way to Danielle's grandmother's place.
"But I wanna help," he said, following my steps behind me.
"And I want you to fuck off, so beat it!" I said louder, still hearing his steps following me.
I spotted Bronx, outside of Danielle's grandmother's doorstep. I loaded the gun and called his name as he turned around.
"How did you get here, Bobo?" Bronx asked.
I aimed my gun at him, "Stay away from Danielle," I warned as he let out a laugh.
"Are you gonna shoot me? You ain't got the balls, kid," he smirked, walking towards me and stopped as he spotted Ash, "Is this your bodyguard?"
He aimed his gun at Ash. Ash hid behind me, clenching on my jacket, "Bobo," he whispered with a shaking voice.
I walked up to Bronx, standing just one meter away from him, "I said, stay away,"
"I know your weakness. I know every single one of them. Danielle, this little kid reminding you of your little brother. Smoke, and your sick mother," he threw a punch as I fell to the ground.
I groaned. Shaking my head as Bronx walked past me. I heard Ash call for my name and I turned around to see Bronx aiming his gun at him...*December 8th 2012*
"Happy birthday, darling," my mom said, kissing my cheek and placed a little cupcake in front of me in my bed.
"Thanks mom," I sighed sitting up straight, picking up the cupcake.
Usually Leo would be jumping on my bed by now, singing the birthday song and it would end up with us wrestling until mom came in and lifted him off my bed. But it ain't gonna happen anymore, and I'll just have to get used to it.
She walked out of my room and forgot to close the door. I placed my cupcake on my nightstand and lied my eyes on a picture of me and Leo holding around each other, smiling like little kids. It's been 3 months since his death, all I was looking for since then was revenge against Bronx. I clenched my fists and let go of the picture on my lap before burying my face in my hands.
"I know what you're thinking," Smoke's voice came from the doorway.
"I don't think you're even close," I mumbled, looking up at him.
He was leaning against the doorway with his hands in his jeans' pockets. He stood up straight and walked towards me, "You're thinking how you can put a bullet through your brother's killer's head," he sat down at the bedside. He took a long pause before looking out the doorway, "I walked in the front door, your mother mistook me for your father,"
I furrowed my eyebrows at him, "My father?"
"I reminded her that I was your closest friend, she told me I looked like your father when he was young. And then she thought I was Lucky," he told me.
"She's not well," I mumbled.
"No," he said, "She's sick and only getting sicker. And you need to be there for her, not running around chasing a killer,"
"So I'm just gonna let that motherfucker walk around leaving me suffering?" I was angry.
"What are you gonna do, huh, Bobo? Kill him?" Smoke asked as I looked away, holding in my tears, "You're not a killer, Bobo. You're better than him,"
"You've killed before," I said under my breath.
"I've only killed for important reasons, not just for fun," he told me as I stood up from my bed, "He killed for important reasons too, Smoke! I owed him money!"
"Then he should've put a bullet through your chest!" Smoke shouted, pushing his finger against my chest, "Not your brother's. He's having fun torturing you, and he will continue until he gets that money,"
I calmed down, taking deep breaths before looking at Smoke, "So, what am I gonna do?"
"It's your birthday, and I'm gonna make sure you have some fun," Smoke smirked, placing his hand on my shoulder.***
"I rented this whole nightclub just for you," Smoke told me as we were standing outside the biggest nightclub out of town. He had his arm around my shoulders, bent down and looked at me, "I want you to get in there, get wasted and find a girl so you finally can lose the V-card,"
"You know I'm not a virgin, right?" I chuckled, receiving a confused look from Smoke, "I lost it when I was 15, to... to Danielle,"
"Just get laid kid," Smoke laughed, pushing me in front of him as we headed into the nightclub.
The party was sick and crowded. I've been here for three hours already getting high and drunk when suddenly a lightskin girl walked up to me. She had the model body and long blonde weave. She placed her hand on my shoulder and moved in so that her lips touched my ear as she whispered, "I just want to be used by you tonight. Can I be your personal toy?"
I turned around to face her, smirked as I took her hand and walked with her upstairs. We walked into the staff room where they had a bed. I walked with her up to the bed, made her face me and whispered, "Just lie back and let me take care of business,"
She lied down on the bed, I took off my shirt as she was about to do the same before I stopped her, "I said let me," and slowly took her top off.
I lied on top of her and started kissing and sucking on her neck as she let out small moans. My hands were moving up and down her body before they locked on her waist. I started to kiss down between her breasts, before moving down her stomach.
"You really know how to please a girl. I'm guessing this ain't your first time," she breathed as I stopped.
I stood up straight and grabbed my shirt.
"What are you doing?" The girl asked, looking confused.
"Getting out of here," I told her.
"You can't just stop in the middle of everything?" She reached for her bra.
"I can, and I will," I told her before walking out of the door.
I walked downstairs again facing Smoke just staring at me with a huge grin on his face," That was quick,"
"Of course it was," I told him, "Cause we didn't do anything," I walked past him, grabbing myself another drink.
"Why not?" He questioned, following me.
I turned around, raised my cup and smiled, "Danielle,"*Now*
"You're gonna die, just like his little brother," Bronx told Ash.
I picked up the gun I dropped and stood up. Without hesitation I pulled the trigger, the bullet went through his shoulder. Bronx screamed in agony as the lights inside of the house went on. Bronx ran off. I grabbed Ash by his sweater and hid behind the nearest bush. The front door opened and there she was. The beautiful Danielle I haven't seen in ages. And God had she grown. She saved up her afro just like she said she would. I just looked at her, admiring her face, her clothes, her body and... gun? Why was she holding a gun?
"Wow, that chick is hot," Ash whispered as I elbowed his hip before he let out a groan.
Danielle looked our direction as we ducked even more. She slowly walked down the steps, looking over at the blood from Bronx's shoulder before looking back over at the bush we were hiding behind. She slowly approached us before what sounded like her grandmother called her name. She stopped and gave a final look around before rushing back in and locking the door.
"Jesus," I breathed, standing up.
I grabbed Ash and got the hell away from there. I was walking fast and Ash were almost running behind me.
"Who was that?" He asked.
"My ex," I sighed.
"Your ex?" He said in surprise, "Man if I were you I would've never let her go,"
"I had to," I replied dryly.
"Why?" He questioned as I stopped and turned to face him before he crashed into me.
"Where do you live kid?" I asked as he backed up.
"Right across the street over there," he told me, pointing over at a small white house.
"Go home," I commanded before turning around, starting to walk away from him.
"But I don't wan..." He said before I cut him off, "Go home!"
