The party's already in full swing by the time we get there; the music so loud it can be hear down the street. The party started 45 minutes ago and already people are wasted. We walk into the house and maneuver through dancing bodies until we reach the kitchen. "Do you want something to drink," Claire shouts over the music. I still only barely hear her.

"Yeah, just a coke though. I don't want to drink tonight." I practically have to scream back at her for her to hear me. She walks away to go get the drinks just as Tyler comes sauntering up to me. Our eyes meet and I know that he'd been drinking because there's a wild look in his eye that can't be tamed. I worry about Tyler when he drinks; once he starts he can't really stop and that fact alone scares me. He's doesn't rage when he drinks but he does get carried away and can do very stupid things.

"Hey," he slurs, leaning against the counter beside me.

Just as I'm about to respond, a strong pair of arms snake around my waist and pull me into their hard chest. "Hey babe," they whisper in my ear. I turn around in their arms to be meet by the green eyes of my boyfriend. I flash a flirtatious smile up at him and he returns it. "I was starting to think that you weren't going to show up and that I'd have to drive to your house and get you to go come."

I laugh at that but it's a little forced. "Well here I am." I lean in really close so that my lips are grazing his ear and whisper in a suggestive tone, "What are you going to do to me." Then as an afterthought, I say, "Rock my world?" I feel him shiver and I pull away smirking. When I look up at him, I watch as his eyes glaze over, a hint of mischief in them.

Before I now it, his lips are on mine and he's lifting my up and placing me on the counter. I wrap my legs around his waist as he runs his hands up and down my thigh. My hands find the nape of his neck then slowly slide up so I can run my fingers through his hair. He moves his lips so that they are now traces kisses down my jaw to my neck. When I feel him start to suck on my skin, I involuntarily let out a moan of pleasure. I loop my arms around his waist and run my hands up and down his back before sliding my finger into his belt loop and pulling closer to me. He pulls away from me for just a second to catch his breath before pressing his lips to mine again. How did I end up so lucky as to have someone like Austin in my life?

We keep making out until we're interrupted by someone clearing their throat. We pull away from each other slowly before turning to glare at the intruder but my eyes soften when I see that it's only Claire with my drink. A look of disgust crosses her face as she hands me my drink. I take the cup from her hand and as soon as it's not in her hand she dashes for the nearest exit. She hates PDA with every breath in her body.

I chuckle under my breath and turn back to Austin. You gotta love Claire and her weirdness.

"You'd think that she would be used to our show of affection after us dating for 5 months now," he says with a laugh. Then a smirk grows on his beautiful face before whispering in my ear, "It's quite hard for me to keep my hands off of you and not kiss you like there's no tomorrow." He goes in for another kiss but as our lips are about to touch I pull back and push him off so that I can get off of the counter. I turn back to Austin who wears a confused scowl on his features, probably from me just rejecting him.

I'm messing with him and he soon figures it out. He grabs onto my waist and pulls me to him to connect our lips again. I kiss him back but only for a second before pulling back, spinning around and dragging him out to the makeshift dance floor. I place my arms around his neck as his hands sprawl out on my lower back. We stare into each other's eye until 'Shut up and Dance with Me' comes blasting through the speaker. I squeal and grab Austin's hand as we both start dancing. He spins me around and dips me then pulls me up to be met with a heart melting kiss. When he pulls away I can't help the smile that makes its way to my face.

After a few more songs, I walk into the kitchen to grab another coke. As I go to turn around, I run right into someone's chest, hitting my head on their collarbone.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I didn't see you there." Wait, I know that voice. It's the same voice that used comfort me and put me to ease. The same voice of the boy I thought I was in love with years ago.

I finally lift my head and my breathe hitches. Standing in front of me is the person I used to call my best friend. The boy I never thought I'd see again. Standing in front of me is Dylan Armstrong.
