her nana had decorated the house in pink, purple, and white streamers. balloons of the same variety of colours were taped to the walls and scattered all over the floors.
there was a big sign that read "happy birthday justine!!" in lime green. a table for presents was set up. there were games, and she assumed her cake was either in the fridge or had yet to be picked up.
