The Sorting Prt. 2

Hey guys. Know what? I have 18 reads!!!!!! Yeah! I'm also sorry I did this chapter in two parts its just its to long to put it in one. well hope you enjoy and follow me in watt pad  and vote Chp.6!

Chp.6

- Percy's POV -

If Piper hadn't shouted I would have been crushed by the giant lion paw that just appeared in th place I had been before I jumped aside. I saw a chimera, a lion headed beast with a goats head at it's side and a snake for a tail (if you want to see it it's at the end of the chapter). Then I saw an arrow aiming to it's heart. Thalia almost sang victory, but the chimera moved so fast and blocked it with a goat horn, that I almost didn't see it. Annabeth and Nico were already at my side. Jason, Thalia, Hazel and Frank coming to help, Piper was petrified-like standing there, protecting the left first years that were in first line, and Leo was just distracted. I dodged a flame that had come from the lion's mouth, while flipping  Riptide in pen form in the air and it fell back to my hand in sword form. While fighting, I remembered a sword fight that I didn't win this summer against Chrysaor, the golden boy. In that fight he had felt the same, desperate. Waiting for a miracle. But this time he thought of something. He had to find Jason or Thalia. Jason. He was closer.

 - Jason! - I screamed without stopping to use his sword to slay, cut and hurt anything of that monster in his path.

Jason was there after a second. I pointed at the water (in the dark lake) and at me, then at the sky and at him. He nodded. A second later he was flying, controlling the winds, to the sky and started to command a lightning. I had like... ten seconds to command the water in the dark lake and throw at the chimera. I raised my hand and had half of the lake at his command. He made it a sphere and put it around the beast. Then I shouted:

 - Back! Everybody, back away!

Then the lightning struck. Just to the center of the sphere. The chimera was burn to monster dust. And then Leo came and said:

 - What did I miss? 

 - Ah... nothing special. Just a fire breathing lion with a goat's head and a snake tail. - I said ironically.

 - Yeah... and I didn't hear you fighting a thing like that? Of course. - Leo replied.

 - What do I answer to that? - I ask whispering to Annabeth, that had just come next to me.

 - Just let it be Percy, let it be. - Annabeth answered.

And everyone except me and Leo (that he probably didn't understand it like myself) laughed. And then I passed out with Jason at his side

 - Harry's POV - 

Over all the fight almost all the Griffindor table, all Dumbledore's Army and all the teachers were pointing their wand to the monster that had come crashing through window but not jinxing or "throwing" spells to the monster because of the fear of hitting any of our new demigod friends. But then we saw Jason fly, without broom or spell, some people started to bring down their wands with their mouths open. But that was just the beginning, because after Percy controlled half a lake with his hand and surrounded the beast in a ball of water, that reminded me of Dumbledore against Voldemort in my fifth year, and then the most spectacular thing, a lightning struck with a deafening sound on the sphere and the beast becoming to dust and Percy leaving the water in it's place and then laughing. Wow, I've done a lot of cool things, but how they act they act they look as if they do stuff like that everyday. And then both, Jason and Percy passed out. I went running next to the demigods with Hermione and Ron at my side.

 - What happened? - I asked.

 - They both used to much power, and this happens when you use a bit to much of the power of the gods and the're not entire gods so they can only hold a limit of their power en they go over it they can pass out or... - Annabeth answered without being able to finish, but I, and everyone, understood it at the second she finished.

- Is he going to be alright? - Hermione asks suddenly.

 - Yes. It normally is just an hour or so. - Thalia said.

After that we took Percy and Jason with levitating spells to the Griffindor tower to sleep this night and next night they will be sellected and will tell their story. When we got to the portrait and said the password (dragon heart string) we told the girls to go with Hermione and the boys came with us. We went to the last room it said "grade 8". there were seven beds with their stuff in each bed.

We were still hoping. Hoping that the monster wasn't a sign. A sign of war, of something bigger was comming.
