Safe And Sound

I stayed there in the hall, eyes closed trying to stay calm.Let's just say that it didn't work and I sorta blacked out. Which is why I'm sitting, well more like laying here in the nurse's office. Did I mention that I used to hid out here too? My bud-die Ol' pal Susie.

"What happened to me this time?" I asked.

"You blacked out after Jaylynne tried to beat you up."

"Who helped me?"

"The new boys and girls....I think their names are Elizabeth, Braelyn, and Tyler."

"Oh." I was quiet for a couple of minutes. "What about Jason?"

"Oh Hunney,he didn't make it to your class and we can't find him." She said tears filling her eyes.

"Thanks" I said tears flowing over. I heard voices outside, then someone came in. It was Tyler.

"Hey." He said rubbing his neck.

I sat up and looked at him "Hi."

I guess he saw the tears in my eyes so he said, "Jason, he-he wouldn't leave like that. I've seen the way he looks at you. He's in love with you. He-he wouldn't leave you like this unless it was super important."

Tears were now fillinf his eyes. "Tyler, don't cry. I'm supposed to be the cry baby of the group."

He looked at me and we both started laughing. I got up and hugged him. By the time that I had woken up and talked to Tyler, the last bell had rang through the school. We had been excused from our last two classes. I thought about going home with Liz, but it's like Tyler red my mind and dragged Liz and I to Jason's house. Tyler knocked on the door several times, and almost hit Jason in the face, when he opened the door. While he was doing this I slowly sinked away to my old house, and my old room. I felt comfortable here, but not safe. Safe. I felt safe in Jason's arms. Before I knew it I was crying, and then I was asleep. Out like a light on my bed. Somehow it didn't feel right like it did with Jason.
