Nate's POV

Today was Ethan's funeral. I didn't want this day to come. No one did. But it had to. Me and Y/N were picking up Alex, Devin and Grayson. None of us wanted to go but this was the last chance to go see him before he goes in a better place.

We got ready and went to pick up the guys at Gray's house. When we arrived at his house, we noticed that none of the guys had their phones. We didn't either. We didn't want to see tweets about Ethan.

*after the funeral*

We arrived the guys to their houses and then we headed to ours. The journey to home was silent until Y/N broke it.

Her- I can't believe Ethan's dead.
Me- Yeah. He didn't deserve this.
Her- This is all my fault
Me- No it's not. This is the killer's fault because he doesn't realise that there other people that he can date.
Her- Yeah you're right. I hope that this doesn't happen again.
Me- I hope so.

By the time we finished talking we were outside her house. We got inside and sat at the kitchen table. Y/N grabbed her laptop and went on Youtube to watch some funny videos. Maybe it will get Ethan's death out of her mind. I took out my phone and started to like some fan account edits. An hour later her mum video called her.

Her- Hi mu-. WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

I got up and went next to her. On the screen I saw the killer covering her mum's mouth and with the same knife close to her throath.

Caller- Surprise princess!
(He used a vioce changer app so we couldn't recognise him)

Me- Leave her alone!
Her- How did you know were she was?!
Caller- I have my ways. Now let's make a deal. You two break up infront of me, right now and my baby's mother will be safe.

I looked at Y/N. I gave her a 'let's pretend this' look.

Me- Ok. Here it goes. Y/N I'm breaking up with you.
Her- Umm. Ok.
Me- You happy now?
Caller- Let me think.. NO!

He lifted up the knife and took it at the back of Y/N's mum. I quickly covered Y/N's eyes and pulled her to my chest so she wouldn't see her mum being murdered. He stabbed her back a couple of times and then he stabbed the knife in her throat. I felt my shirt wet. Y/N new what had happened because she heard her mum's muffled scream before he killed her.

Me- WHY THE FUCK DID YOU THAT?
Caller- I know you were faking it Nate. Did you think I'm that dumb?
Me- You know you're an asshole right? We will find you.
Caller- Ok. I'll be killing more people until you find me. Bye bitch.

And he hung up.
