England holds the key- Chapter 3

Mark's POV:

I had came up with an idea, a way that I could go on vacation and Jordan would not be all alone. It was the perfect plan. What if Jordan came with us? (A/N: who didn't see that coming). I mean it's just going to be him by himself anyway, so why couldn't he come? I'm going to ask my mother about this right after I'm done packing this last bag. Done. I'm positive that she will not have an issue with this at all.

"No." Ok minor set back. "Why not? Mom he's going to be all by himself for two months. Please?" Yes, I have stooped down to begging my mom to let him go, don't judge. "Mark, he's lasted the other 15 Family vacations," she reminds me. NOT THE POINT! "Mom that was also only three weeks, this is two months we're talking about. He won't be able to handle two months of talking to nothing but the wall. Please mom, don't make me beg." I hate the thought that my best friend might have to actually talk to a wall, because nobody will talk to him otherwise. I mean let's face it, sometimes I doubt the wall wants to talk to him.

"What did his mom say?" at least she considering. "I haven't asked her yet. I was going to ask you before I told him and got his hopes up. I just can't do that to him." She let out a huge breath through her mouth, before she opened her mouth to respond. I was so anxious for her reply, I was literally ready to jump out of my skin I was shaking so much. "Fine," when I was about to celebrate she put her finger in the air to motion she wasn't finished. Of course not, "But don't mess around this is still our family vacation. Understood?" I nodded praying this little pep talk would end soon. "Also, you have to see his mother's opinion about this. Got it?" I nodded once again. I couldn't believe it, I'm going on vacation with my best friend.

Jordan's POV:

I sat in my bedroom planning my three weeks of being with myself. So far I have; read my comic books once through the entire series, Hang with Mark.... wait can't scratch that. I felt so alone and a huge lump in the back of my throat crossing off my plan with him. I almost felt bad, like I was banning him from my life, but I can't think of that and focus on the project at hand. I stay there for 15 more minutes before giving up. I can't think of anything else to do so I guess it will just be me and the wall for yet another Wills family vacation. I hate their vacations! I know that sound really mean, but I'm by myself speaking to myself for three whole weeks. I occasionally have my mother to talk to when she finds time between shifts to have dinner with me. Man this already sucks and it hasn't even started. But it's only for three weeks, so it's not that bad. I heard my phone ring, I picked it up and looked at it. Mark sent me a message, it read "Hey bro great news! Meet me at the park in ten minutes!" Awesome, how could the "news" get any better?

Lindsey's POV:

I text my best friend and told her my plan. She said it was a great plan and that she was going to help me with it. Well the "plan" was more of a vacation from home at home. I wasn't leaving the state just the town. I would be heading over to Cheshire, England, for a little while. We would just enjoy the sights. I have been dumped by guys in the past so that's why I'm not crying like an idiot, and know how to deal with them. You see boys think that they can see you and that's enough to fill their willpower not to talk to you. But, if they haven't seen you in over five days they will eventually come and knock on your door, and ask for forgiveness. But you have to be strong and play their game back. Lead them on like they've won, lean in and right when your lips are centimeters from one another's, slam the door in their face. So we're staying for at least a month. Let's just say, I love a good chase.

Jordan's POV:

I walked to the park, and arrived five minutes early. So I had to wait for Mark to get there. Five minutes turned into fifteen minutes really fast. When I was just about to leave, I saw a figure running towards me. I had to squint to see the person. It was Mark. He really shouldn't run, he looked like a seal chasing its ball. When he finally got over to me he was panting like an idiot. "Hey man, are you ok?" I don't want a human being to hyperventilate on me. "No dude, I'm fine. I just ran three blocks to get here." Speaking of, "Why did it take so long?" "Well I couldn't find my shoes" he managed to spit out in between breaths. "I was waiting on a shoe?" I grinned, my friends an idiot. "Yeah, but I need to talk to you," he caught his breath and said, "You are coming with us to England!" I stood there with my mouth hanging wide open. I felt the sides of the perfect "O" turn up so I was smiling really big. I was so happy I jumped up and down before hugging him. "Man that's awesome! I'll have someone to talk to now!" "That's the point. I couldn't leave you by yourself for the 16th time." "Awe man, don't go getting all soft on me. We are going on vacation together!" "But we have to ask your mom first" Way to kill the mood.

Lindsey's POV:

"Dad don't worry it's just for a month. I'll be back before you know it." Dad was worried about me going on vacation with my best friend. It was just going to be the two of us, and being a good, concerned father he always assumed the worst. "I know that sweetie, but you know how I am about your safety." "I know dad. We all know, and that's why I love you." I hugged my dad for a minute before creating space between us. My dad filled the silence with, "You better text me once a day. Also, a call every once and a while wouldn't hurt anything." I laughed, I couldn't help it. His over protectiveness was hysterical. Eventually he did laugh along with me. I loved my dad, this would have been a lot harder with my mother here. I still love my mom and all, but if I was told she was coming for a visit I wouldn't believe it without a second thought. I'm tired of getting my hopes up just to be shot down. One time I waited by the door during a thunderstorm, waiting for my mom to come through it and hug me really tight saying she missed me. That she wouldn't be leaving for a while, but what happened is me staring at the door all night with no sleep and no mom. I have my dad though and that's all that matters. "Ok, I will dad. I love you so much." "I love you to pumpkin.' I hugged him one last time before I went to sleep. I had a trip to plan tomorrow. Two days from now I would be on the road to Cheshire. What could possibly go wrong?
