Just before Alfie could tell me my phone bleeped

Zoe get on a plane home now please get away from Alfie. Please Zoe. Naomi's just told me something about baby Zoe just get the fuck away from Alfie Zo!!!
I was shocked, scared. Why was Joe saying this? What had Alfie done?
'Sorry what were you saying'
'Zoe, I love you with all my heart and I'm so glad we have Lilly and that we're getting married but lately especially I've been focused on how being in a relationship you have to be honest with one another but I haven't been I guess'
'You guess? What does that mean Alf?'
'Erm, you eh, you know baby Zoe'
'What about her?'
'Joes not the father'
'Of course he is he's the only one who's been near Naomi. Isn't he?'
I looked Alfie dead in the eye 'isn't he Alfie?'
'Look Zo I'm sorry but-'
'Wait so your the father?! Are you fucking kidding me Alfie?! With that bitch are you serious? Is that why Joes text me? So not only do you have a daughter but you also have a niece that is your daughter. You know what you're lying. This is all a big set up isn't it'
'I wish it was Zo, I really wish it was'
Tears began burning my eyes. I felt my stomach in constant knots. My lips quivering.
'Why Alf? We have everything.'
'It was one night that we'd all got drunk and Joe had left early and Naomi needed someone to help her back to the hotel room but we went to mine and-'
'So you slept with Naomi just hours before I'd literally fallen asleep in that same bed!?'
I seriously could not take this anymore. 'Just leave me be Alf' and I left. Well I got to the door and
'Zoe!'
'What? Got anything else to admit before I leave?'
'I love you'
Lies that's all he was saying. So I left. I left him in the hospital room by himself and went back to the hotel room, packed my things and got on the earliest plane back to England. How could he seriously? I texted Joe explaining the situation and he'd known to as that was the reason behind his text. He'd agreed to pick me up from the airport and go back to mums house where I really really just needed my baby girl.
The airport
I stepped out of the plane and the usual windy weather instantly smacked me in the face. Although my mind still couldn't get around the fact that not only Alfie had cheated on me with my own brothers girlfriend but how long he'd kept it from me, I just wanted to see my family right now.
I got my luggage and almost instantly spotted Joe.
'How was your trip?'
'I've had better. How've you been?'
'I haven't spoken to Naomi. She's at the house and mums agreed for both of us to stay at hers until Alfie's back and we can all sit and discuss this'
'Thank you Joe'
He smiled and pushed me playfully
'What the hell was that for?'
'You were being all mushy and nice'
'Did you ever grow up?'
And we got into the car and drove back to my mums.
Mums house
It was half past two exactly. I walked up to the front door and gently knocked it. After a few seconds mum appeared. Nothing was said at first. She just comforted me in a mum hug.
'Mummy?' A very recognisable voice spoke.
'Lilly?' I looked around the door to see my baby girl stood there and then in my arms. How I'd missed this one.
'I've missed you'
'Where is daddy?'
'He is still on holidays he will be home soon okay'
'Owkay'
'Lilly you play with your toys in the living room and mummy will be in now, Ok'
'Ok mummy' and she skipped off.
'When's Alfie coming back Zo?' Mum asked.
'I don't know. At this point I don't even care. He can stay there for all I care'
'Well you can stay here for now'
Three days after (Now Monday)
Alfie
Slowly I walked to the door and tapped it. I hoped Zoe would at least be willing to talk. Although I wouldn't blame her if she didn't. She didn't deserve me. She deserved so much better and it was all because I made one stupid mistake. But the door had finally opened.
'What do you want?'
'Is Zoe here?'
'Yeah, but your not seeing here'
'Joe I need to talk to her'
'You done enough talking Alf now leave'
'Joe who is it?' Her voice appeared from behind.
'Take a guess Zo'
'Daddy?' There she was. My beautiful baby girl came running to my feet. Slowly I lifted her up into a hug, holding her tightly but softly.
'What do you want?'
'Zoe please just let me talk'
'What's to talk about Alf? That fact you slept with my brothers girlfriend and is my nieces father?'
'No about now'
'There is no now, there is no more us. As for Lilly, we'll have to arrange something'
'Here'
She placed a small cold item in my hand.
'Come back tomorrow and we'll talk about Lilly'
The door was soon shut in my face and I was stood outside the house alone. I looked down to see the engagement ring sat in my hand. As a tear dribbled down my face I realised I had lost everything that was worth living for.
