The Truth Comes Out- Part Two

Alec POV:

"Actually there is one thing..." I muttered quietly, giving Magnus one last look and gulping nervously "Mum, dad, I've been meaning to tell you this for a while but" I paused and took a deep breath "Mum, dad, I'm gay". 

"Don't mess with us Alexander, that's not funny" Dad scolded "Wait, you're actually serious?" I nodded and my parents just stood there in silence, staring at me in shock.

"How long have you?" Mum couldn't even finish her sentence "I don't even know what to say" I let out a nervous sigh before starting to walk towards Magnus.

"I've known since I was twelve years old but I didn't know how to tell you and was scared you'd disown me" I admitted "It's only since I met Magnus that I became fully comfortable with it" I reached Magnus and grabbed his hand in mine as I said this, My parents gave me a calculating look and Magnus gave my hand a comforting squeeze, smiling gratefully at me.

"Are you and Magnus together?" My father asked, looking warily at mine and Magnus' linked hands and I nodded "I see, how long have you two been dating?" I was about to reply when Magnus replied for me.

"We've been together for nearly I think five months" Magnus replied "We met at school, he was assigned to me as my maths tutor".

"And you didn't think to mention this before?" Mum asked sternly "If I'd known you two were together,  you two would have had the Bedroom door stays open at all times already" I blushed and Magnus let out a little laugh.

"So you're not mad?" I asked slowly and my parents just shook their heads at me, smiling warmly.

"No, we're not mad at you Alexander" Mum told me gently, walking up to me "We're surprised but We're okay with it".

"Thank you" I smiled, pulling mum into a hug. Mum tensed up for a second before she relaxed and put her arms around me in a tight hug.

"We'd always love you, Alexander" Dad told me, coming up next to mum and I "No matter who you're attracted to, your mother and I will support you and Magnus whatever happens". 

"Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Lightwood" Magnus smiled "We truly do appreciate that" Mum and I broke apart and my parents sent Magnus a smile.

"What do your parents think about you being gay, Magnus?" Mum asked curiously and I saw Magnus' smile drop. 

"He's bisexual, mum" I told her, walking next to Magnus and grabbing his hand in mine "And he doesn't have parents either".

"Oh" Mum said quickly "I'm so sorry Magnus, I had no idea" Magnus gave her a grim smile and shrugged his shoulders.

"It's fine Mrs. Lightwood" Magnus told her quietly "Alexander is right, I have no parents. I never knew my father and my mother... died when I was young; I've been in social services since I was five years old".

"I'm just taking a wild guess but I'm guessing your social worker doesn't know you're here" Dad commented curiously and Magnus shook his head sheepishly "Don't you think you should tell them?" Magnus shook his head.

"Arram still thinks I'm living with Joseph" Magnus confessed "If I told him that I'm not, than he'd have to find me another foster home and I'd be separated from Maddie and Alexander".

"Fair enough" Dad nodded "He's going to find out eventually though so just be careful alright" Magnus nodded. 

"Yes sir" Magnus smiled "I'm being careful" Dad nodded and left the room, my mum in tow and the room fell into silence for a few moments.

"That went... well?" Maddie said quietly a few moments later and Magnus laughed "At least Magnus and I didn't get kicked out, plus Alec no longer has to hide his relationship with Magnus" I gave her a look and left the room. I walked quickly to my room and jumped face down onto my bed, slamming my door behind me.

"Is it alright if I come in, Alexander?" Magnus asked a second later, gently opening my door. I just lay there silently, I faintly heard my door get shut and I felt the bed dip as Magnus sat down "Maddie didn't mean to upset you Hun, please don't be mad with her".

"I'm not mad with her" I told Magnus quietly, picking my head up and changing my position so that I was facing him "I'm just.. overwhelmed and her comment just set me off".

"That's understandable, darling" Magnus smiled, pulling me close to him "What you did today was huge and I'm so, so proud of you. You didn't know what your parents reaction would be but you just went for it, I've never been prouder to be your boyfriend" I smiled and pulled Magnus into a tight hug, Magnus let out a squeal of surprise and we fell onto the bed, Magnus underneath me.

"I did not plan this, I swear" I blushed and Magnus laughed, rolling us over so that he was on top "Magnus, you're not helping! My parents could walk by any moment!" Magnus simply smirked and kissed me gently, I tried to push him away briefly but gave in and started kissing back.

"My, my Alexander" Magnus smirked as we broke apart for air "I must be corrupting you, being alone with me while the door's closed. Where did Mr. good boy go?" I blushed and hit him on the chest making him laugh.

"This is exactly the reason I said you have to have your door open at all times when you two are together, Alexander" Came a voice from the door way and I rolled off Magnus, onto the floor in shock "You may be gay but you have the same rules as Isabelle and Jace".

"Sorry Mrs. Lightwood, we'll open it next time" Magnus laughed, helping off the floor "I was just checking that he was okay".

"There are other ways to check up on someone Magnus, like talking for example" Mum said shaking her head "And you can call me Mayrse, Magnus. If you're dating Alexander then we'll be seeing more of each other anyway". 

"Will do, Mayrse" Magnus nodded, laughing at my bright red face "I plan to be around for a long while more".

"I'm glad" Mayrse smiled "I haven't seen Alexander this happy for a while, I'll leave you alone now boys but just make sure you keep the door open, I'll be checking. My father and I wish to speak with you Alexander but it can wait, After dinner we'll speak alright?" Alec nodded and left the room leaving Alec and I alone together.

Four things that you may like to know:

1) Guess who's going to see BMTH (Bring Me The Horizon) on the 25th of September?! I am!! (Okay, you didn't really need to know that but I wanted to tell you because I'm so excited! :D).

2) This story has kind of taken up a different direction than it had at the start, in case you hadn't noticed. It's like half a Fanfiction (Because I don't own most of the characters ect...) but it's also become half of my own original story (Since Maddie and Arram's characters are my own-Well mostly however no copyright is intended. Plus the story line is mine but you can generally say that for any story can't you?).

3)I've decided that I'm going to end this story at  thirty chapters as I am slowly running out of ideas but don't worry, I have plans for a second story (You'll hear more on that soon).

4) Last thing (And probably the most important to be quite honest) but I will be returning to study on the 14th of July (I'm currently on break) so I won't be able to post as often from then on. I will try update once a week at least, maybe more if possible but my studies will understandably come first.

Anyway that's all I needed to say, I'll end this now before you lose interest XD
