Emily's pov:
I walked out of class and start rushing through the the halls. My hair was actually not in my face for once (I swear this is really the first time) and I noticed lots of boys kept staring at me and winking and smirking but I rolled my eyes and kept walking.
I got to my next class which was science and I stay right at the back...like always. "Ok class today I decided I am going to give you a break from work so you can chat with your friends and go on your phones and stuff. I obviously didn't have any friends so I pulled out my phone.
I had a message from Grayson.
G: hey it's Grayson
E:oh hey Grayson
G: oh please call me gray
E: uh ok... Hi gray😂
G: heyyy😂
E: meet me outside at the football field at lunch...is that ok?
G: yea of course, but I got to go now...my teachers getting mad bye😘
E: oh ok😂 bye
UMMMM ok. I think I made a new friend. I sat on my phone and and scrolled through my Instagram and Twitter. I was and happy until I realised.... This could be a joke. This could just be all a lie. Since he's part of the "cool" kids they could of sent him over to me and try wasting my time.
The lunch bell rang and I headed outside. I come here everyday and if he doesn't come I wont really care. I got outside and I saw Grayson sitting on the grass with his phone out. I started walking towards him and he realized that I was there "oh, hey Emily" he said putting his phone back in his pocket.
"Hey" I say shyly. I Sit down pretty far away from him. "You can sit closer to you know that, right?" Grayson said raising and eyebrow.
"Oh ok" I say shifting my body a little bit closer to his.
"So, about tonight... What time do you want me to meet you there?" I ask folding my legs into criss cross
"oh please, I'll pick you up at 7:30... Is that good. He asks. "Um, yea, sure" I say. "Ok, great" he says.
