Two weeks later

Emily's pov:

Today I'm soooo excited because it my birthday!!! I wonder what everyone got me?!?

I unplugged my phone from the charger and went on Instagram for a bit. I saw lots happy birthday posts and comments, I smiled a turned off my phone.

"Good morning baby girl" Grayson said walking in my room kissing me on the cheek.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Ethan, Grayson and hazel yelled.

We all started laughing and talked for a bit.

I went in my washroom and washed my face.

I threw on some sweat pants, a bra and a Nike wind breaker.

I walked down stairs and Grayson grabbed my belly and kissed it.

"Morning princess" Grayson said mumbling into my belly

"Morning love" Grayson said kissing me on the lips.

"So what do you wanna do for your birthday?"

Grayson asked

"I don't know... Shopping?"

"Sure, I'll bring you shopping, go get ready" Grayson said making me a smoothie.

I walked up stairs and pick out clothes

I wore a army green dress which looked really cute with my baby bump with brown high heel combat boots with a cute hat and sunglasses with a gold necklace.

I walked back down stairs and saw Grayson putting on his shoes.

We walked outside to the car and drove off to the mall.

When we first got into the mall we went into pink. I bought this really cute pink bomber jacket with a new bra.

We went into garage and Grayson bought me a new out fit that costed over $200

It was a long sleeve knitted tie up shirt with ripped jeans, black high heel boots and a thick choker.

I thanked him and told him he didn't need to spend any more money on me.

We went to the food court and ordered some food. I got a small Poutine from newyork fries and Grayson got teriyaki.

As we were eating we heard people screaming and running. We both turned around and saw a gunman.

Me and Grayson ran as fast as we could but suddenly I felt a sharp pain through my chest... Everything went black.

Grayson poV:

Me and Emily were running as fast as we could then suddenly I heard Emily scream and fall to the floor.

I picked her up bridal style and kept running I made it out to the parking lot and there were a whole bunch of cop cars. I put her in the back seat of the car and gently rubbed my hand over her belly.

I got in the front seat of the car and drove off. As I was driving to the hospital tears starting rolling down my cheeks.

I pulled up in the hospital parking lot and picked her up gently. I ran into the emergency room "help please she was shot" I said crying.

A woman led me into a room and I laid her down

"I'm sorry sir but your going to have to leave, we need to run an exam" the woman said

"Please, she's pregnant with my baby, do all you can to help her" I said crying

"We will" she said resting her hand on my shoulder

I went and waited in the waiting room. I pulled out my phone and called Ethan.

"E-Ethan, come to the hospital" I said through the phone with a shaky voice.

"Wait what, why dude?" Ethan asked concerned

"Just get her and I'll explain" I hung up and dug my face into my hands.

After about five minutes Ethan and hazel came running through the door.

"Dude what's wrong" Ethan asking freaking out

"E-emily W-was shot at the mall today" I said with tears building up in my eyes.

"What?!?!? Omg where is she" hazel asked looking like she was going to cry.

"They have her under and exam right now" I said

We sat in the waiting room for about four more hours.

I started to fall asleep until I was woken up by the nurse saying "Grayson Dolan?"

I shot up out of my seat and ran into the hospital room.

I saw Emily, she had cords running through her hands and she was put on a breathing tank.

I held her hand and kissed.

"Listen, we looked for the baby's heart beat but we couldn't find it..." the nurse said Walking out.

I looked at Emily and cried I couldn't stop crying. My baby, my little princess, she's gone... Forever
