Emily's poV:
I'm currently getting ready for this thing with Grayson (the dinner thingy) I'm not going to dress too fancy but I'm wearing (picture above,I'm too lazy to explain.) So yea... It was about six thirty and I went downstairs too tell my mom what was happening.
"Hey mom" I say hopping off the last step. "Ugh, hi" my mom said rolling her eyes. "me and my friend are going to pizza pizza in like a half an hour" I say swinging my arms. "Ok, wait... Did you do the chores I asked you to do?" My mom says turning around facing me.
"Uh, yea, I did I just forgot to put the washed clothes in dryer..." I say scared. "WHAT?!?!? I told you do it" she said getting furious. " I know I just for-" I don't care she said cutting me off. A few seconds later I felt a sting across my cheek... She just slapped me... I dropped to the floor holding my cheek crying. I stayed there for a minute or two then went upstairs to get my phone.
I grabbed my phone and as I was walking down the stairs a horn honked from outside. It was Grayson. I walked outside with a hand mark on my face and the dried tears on my cheeks. I got in his car and before driving he asked "what happened?" " my mom happened, I'm fine" I replied with attitude being mad at my mom.
"Oh my god, she did that to you?" He asked worried "yeah, it's whatever... Let's go" I say covering my cheek. "Ok" he said driving away. On the way to pizza pizza, my favourite song came on the radio, Sunday candy.
I didn't start singing till it was the girls part, and when i did start singing I didn't even realise I was. "Cuz you Gotta move it slowly, take and eat my body like its holy" I start singing. I realised that Grayson also started singing quietly but I could still hear him. I giggle to the fact that he couldn't sing and he knew it but he still tried.
We arrived at pizza pizza and we got out of the car. We walked into pizza pizza and sat at a table. "I'll go order the pizza" Grayson said standing up. "Oh, ok here take this, can you just get like two slices of pepperoni pizza for me?" I asked handing him a five dollar bill.
He chuckled. "No, I'm buying the pizza" "no it's ok here" I say shaking the bill. "Nope,nope,nope I'm buying it" he said walking away.
A few minutes later he came back with a pizza. "I'm back" he said cheerily setting down the pizza. He took out a slice of pizza for himself and I did too. We were having a conversation about school and blah, blah, blah until this girl who looked like one year younger than us came up to us.
"Oh my god I just want to say that you guys are literally the cutest couple EVER" she said almost in tears. "Oh we're not-" "thank you" Grayson said with a sweet smile. "I also wanted to say, you're SOO pretty and you're SOO hot she said to me and Grayson... "Thank...you?" I say confused. "Thanks" Grayson said with another sweet smile showing off his dimple.
"Ok I should get going now, bye" she said excitedly as if we were celebrity's.
"Bye" me and Grayson say at the same time waving with a smile.
"What was that about" I ask laughing.
"What?" He said laughing back
"Cute couple" I say using my hands to make quotation marks.
"Oh that..." He said clicking in.
"Yea, that" I say with a chuckle
"Oh I don't know, so she would leave..."
"Oh, ok" I say shoving the pizza in my mouth.
After we finished up the pizza we cleaned up and went back to the car.
"Well that was fun" Grayson said with a huge smile on is face putting on his seatbelt.
"Yea, it was,thank you" I say sweetly.
"No problem" he said showing his dimple.
We laughed and he drove off. We we in the car listening to the radio not really talking but I broke the silence. "Hey, uh, Grayson?" I ask quietly. "Yea, what's up?" He asks stopping at a red light. "A-are we, uh F-friends"? I ask shyly.
"Yea, of course why not" Grayson says cheerily to brighten up the mood.
"Oh, ok I was just making sure" I say with a breath of relief.
"Yea... I still don't understand why people would bully you and stuff I mean, you're such a sweet girl and you're beautiful" he says placing his hand on top of mine. I blushed so hard I looked like a tomato.
The rest of the ride was silence other than the radio. We pulled into my driveway and I got out of the car. "Thank you so much Grayson" I say. "No problem" he said turning down the radio. "Ok well I'll see you tomorrow at school, bye" I say starting to walk up my drive way.
"Yeah,ok, bye" he said. He sat in front of my house until I got up to the door and opened it. He waved on last time before driving off.
It was about 9:30 when I got home so I took a shower.
When I was done my shower it was 10:00.
I put on my computer pjs and hopped in bed on my Mac book. I went on tumblr and Instagram then I got tired so I went to bed.
