Boring!  At least, that's how I felt. Gabby and I are sitting in a recon meeting. Our mission was a success and the president's daughter is officially safe at college. I really don't see why we are even having this meeting. I'm too "Tired!" I sat straight up. I didn't mean to say that out loud.

"Is there something you would like to input Ms. Clarissa? Perhaps why you shouted out 'tired'?" Everyone was staring at me. At today's final meeting on this case, my mom Carrie, my dad Justin, my cousin and boss Christopher, his wife Elizabeth, their daughter Sophia, my sister Gabriella, and me. I'm Clarissa Katie Johnson-Whitfield and I just brought attention to myself.

"Um, the president's daughter, Olivia, was tired a lot which made a little difficulty when having to move her around. Her classes swamped her as well as always being extra vigilant even though we told her she could rest easy at night." We were going over things that could have compromised the mission and that is one of the things I noted in my report.  At least it covered my ass.

"Good thing you mentioned that sis. I totally almost forgot about that."

"Gabby, you forget the tiniest details in cases like these." She blushed. My older sister is sort of ditsy. I'm the better spy or so I'm told. The only thing is that I'm married so I don't go on many out of state cases with her. They only give her the easy out of state cases so that they know she won't mess up. They went on with the meeting while I continued to be nauseous and tired. I recently started waking up nauseous in the morning. Bananas have become my best friend. In fact, I'm looking at one that has my name on it, figuratively speaking of course. As I reach for it, Sophia reaches for it too. I let her grab it. She looks at me and smiles. She's a really shy child, doesn't have any friends. I smile back at her.

I look away as she opens it but she makes a small cry noise that gets everyone's attention. She hasn't started talking yet. I look at her and she is handing me half of her banana. "Thank you Sophie." Everyone else just gasps. It's not every day that Sophia interacts with anyone outside of her parents. After that, we finished the meeting with 10 minutes to spare. I have to be home before Jonathan gets off from work. He calls the house every time he knows I'll be home after an assignment. He actually thinks I go on business trips. Technically they are, only not the kind of business he's expecting. But it is better than his last guess.

As I'm driving, I start feeling sick again. I decided I could be a little late. I drive up to the Giant that's about a block away from my house. I go straight for the produce section. I grabbed 20 pounds of bananas. They were on sale. Then I went by the frozen food section and got a few things of concentrated juice. I started wanting hamburger helper and Banana pudding ice cream. I got the banana pudding ice cream, ground beef and the cheeseburger macaroni hamburger helper. I also grabbed some apples, flour, eggs, cinnamon, and lemon juice. I planned on making an apple pie later. I paid for my things and went home.

When I walked in I nearly dropped my groceries, which would have pissed me off, and was met with a kiss. My loving husband, Jonathan, was home. He was as loving as he was when I first met him.

~Past~

I was a little nervous because it was my first big assignment. My mom and dad had sent me and Gabby to a college in New York. I was pretty sure that I was a bit too young to be in college. Our assignment is to study a guy named Jonathan Whitfield. He is supposedly involved with a vicious gang of drug dealers but apparently doesn't know it. We need to make sure he's in the clear and also get involved with this gang to try and shut them down. But first we must make friends with this guy. That's where I come in. My sister is older than me and Jonathan by 5 years. I'm like Jonathan in a way. We're both child prodigies. Me, I was home schooled like my sister. The only difference is that I finished before her. I apparently got my grandmothers genes. She was the best of her time and everyone, including daddy, thought that big sis would be the one. Instead it was me.
