Four Years Later

Its been a few years and I have had the twins. Natalia takes after me and Nathaniel takes after Jonathan. I am currently expecting baby number three and I was nervous. I had a lot of difficulties giving birth to the twins. The other witches we met helped me through it though. Also, the twins fourth birthday was in two days and I still had many things to plan. We had a location reserved and the cakes ordered. But we were still working on a theme. The twins had very different ideas on what they wanted for their party. They had also made a few friends in the neighborhood but they only wanted to hang with Sophie. Right now the twins were in front of me debating the party theme while me and Sophie just watched them try to work it out.

After a while, Sophie intervened. "Would you two stop it!" They looked at her stunned. "You both are being silly about this. Why don't you two just have an anime birthday? You both love watching InuYasha reruns. Nathan, you can dress like Seshomaru and you Talia can dress like Kagome. This whole entire argument was wasteful and counterproductive." They stared at her then agreed to her plan. I made some calls and got everything set in place. I would take them to get their costumes tomorrow.

"Cousin Sophie. Who are you going to be?" Asked Natalia. Talia was her nickname.

"Yeah Sophie. Who?" Asked Nathaniel. Nathan was his nickname. He was also referred to as trouble due to the fact that he caused a lot of trouble.

"I'm going to be Sango. She's my favorite character."

"I love InuYasha and Kagome."

"I love Seshomaru and Naraku."

"It figures that you would favor one of the bad guys Nathan."

"He's not a bad guy Sophia! He's just a little bit misguided in his plans to be with the priestess Kikyo! He is in love with her after all."

"Okay my little anime enthusiasts. It is time for dinner. I brought home pizza. And I'm sure your mother has a salad prepared in the fridge. Hi Sophie."

"Hi Uncle Jonathan."

"I also prepared a lemon meringue pie for dessert."

"You are the best wife ever. By the way, have the twins made up their minds yet?"

"Yup. InuYasha themed."

"How are you and the baby doing?"

"We're okay. The twins and Sophie have been making sure I didn't over work myself."

"Good job kids." After eating dinner, we sat down to watch some anime while eating dessert. After that, everyone got ready for bed.We put the twins to bed first and then I got Sophie tucked in. Her parents would be back from their mission with Gabby tomorrow. As me and Jonathan got ready for bed, we had our usual chat. "I'm going to be late getting home tomorrow. I have to put in some extra hours so I can have off for the whole day on the twins birthday. Also I won't be around the office for lunch so I will have to take lunch with me tomorrow."

"How come? I love bringing lunch to your office."

"I have to pick up the twins gifts tomorrow so I'll be taking the truck."

"Alright." I gave him a kiss and we went to sleep with me tucked into his arms. The next morning, he was gone before I got up. I took a shower and got dressed before going to fix breakfast. As I fixing the banana pancakes, Sophie came down talking to Natalia. "Where is Nathaniel?"

"He's in the bathroom quiffing his hair again. Where's daddy?"

"He had to get an early start on work today. He's also going to be working late tonight so he can have off the whole day on your birthday."

"Okay." As soon as Nathaniel came downstairs, we ate our breakfast. I dressed the twins and had Sophie go get dressed. As I looked at them, I compared their features. Both are 3'2", have long light brown hair though Nathan's is more shoulder length while Talia's goes down her back, and electric blue eyes. I dressed Nathan in dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt with a red electric guitar on it and dressed Talia in shorts overalls and a black t-shirt with pink butterflies on it. Sophie chose a light blue sundress.

After getting the costumes, we went to olive garden for lunch. The kids loved going to olive garden. We talked and then Christopher and Elizabeth showed up to eat with us as well as to take Sophie shopping for the twins birthday. I had already picked up their gift two weeks ago. After they left, I took the kids to the Smithsonian National Zoo to go see their favorite animals. Then we went to Six Flags and stayed until closing. They enjoyed the fire works display. After that we went home and went to sleep.

Jonathan woke me up early the next morning to get the presents ready for the twins to see. Jonathan got them both these fake car things that have a rechargeable battery. Talia got a black BMW and Nathan got a black Hummer. I got Nathan his first leather jacket. He saw it one day and told me he wanted it. I got Talia a few picture frames. She had pictures she took with her old camera that she wanted to put in frames. I would have got her a new camera and a photo album but Sophie told me that was what she was getting her. When the twins came downstairs and saw their gifts, they ran to Jonathan and I and gave us hugs.

After they got to see what they had, I sent them upstairs to get dressed. Nathan wanted to wear his new leather jacket so I let him. Talia dressed in a mini floral pink dress with a black waist band.Nathan dressed in a pair of jeans and a gray t-shirt with a dinosaur on it. Jonathan and I had one more present for each of them. We gave Talia a leather jacket similar to Nathan's while we gave Nathan a new pair of Jordan's. Talia was wearing her white pair while Nathan sported his new black and red pair. I put on a white sundress with a black waistband and black flats. Jonathan put on a white button up,navy blue blazer, a pair of jeans, and black Jordan's.

Jonathan drove to the place we had reserved and set up the party decorations. Aunt Angelica brought the balloons. I had Jonathan leave to bring back the cakes. Before he got back, the ten kids from our neighborhood showed up. Sophie, Christopher, and Elizabeth showed up after Jonathan got back. My parents couldn't make it so they sent $50 toys r us gift cards. They were on a one year mission. They would begone for a while. When it was almost time to eat the pizza, me and Jonathan helped them get into their costumes. Sophie came dressed in hers. After we ate pizza, we sang happy birthday to the twins and they each cut their own cake.

After eating cake, they opened presents. All in all, it was the best birthday I could pull together. I even managed to get someone to cosplay as Kagome, InuYasha, Seshomaru, and Rin. It was hard though. Not many people do it for parties. After everyone else but Sophie left, Jonathan drove us home. We went to bed almost as soon as we all got out of the baths. As me and Jonathan laid in bed, I said one last thing before drifting off to sleep.

"I hope that they will remember this birthday for the rest of their lives."

"They will Clary. They will." And with that, I snuggled into his arms and drifted off to sleep.
