"What was this plan you had?" Lucas asked skeptically.

"You go and hop onto one of those," I pointed to a Space Rider, "And ride it out of the gates and ride North out of the forest and around. I'll jump in a Zoomer and meet you out there deal?" I stuck my hand out smiling.

"No."

"Alright I'll- wait what?"

"No."

Shit. Not as stupid as I thought.

"You can't pull that on me. I'm smarter than I look."

"You can say that again." I mumbled.

"What now?"

"I don't need you anymore. You can go back to whatever you were doing." I waved him off walking towards a smaller vechile.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Away. And if you could leave me to it that'd be great." He grabbed my arm stopping me.

"You either take me with you or you're not going anywhere."

"You aren't the boss of me. I'm royalty and you do what I say." I huffed pulling away my arm and walking on.

"Guess your father won't be happy to see you dragged in by some guards."

"If you do I swear I will kill you without-"

"SOMEONE'S STEALING A-"

"Shut up." I growled pushing a knife against his throat. "If you are so set on this happening then fine. Have it your way." I slipped my knife back into the holder. I walked away from him and towards my house where I was hoping to relax.

Until a horde of humans strode through the gates and a small army went to meet them as I was whisked away for wedding preparations.

"Don't touch me." Lucas snarled and jumped away from the webbed hand that a 'sea monster' ,would be an easy term, was connected to.

"Be nice to Lydia she's a family friend jack-"

"Princesses don't curse." one of the ladies blurted.

"They also aren't in the mitika (or militia is what you would call it) but I just don't follow the rules." I replied before walking away.

"Look who's not going anywhere." Lucas whispered in my ear and I flinched away. But that feeling came back like a tidal wave. It washed over me and if I could describe it I would. It was so strong. It pulled me towards him like gravity. Is what they call love? The fairy tales that were told as bedtime stories. It's so strong. Blocking any common sense. I could feel my heart pound. Love. Love. Love. Such a strange word. Such a pretty little word for such a strong intense emotion.

"Look I don't need any sass from you. Let's get this over with." I was whisked into a dress. A dress that was light and flowed. It was a dark red color, that of blood. It was sleek and shiny and looked to be of metal. It moved with my body and touched the floor. They placed a crown of gold, the gold was thin and intwined among itself with little stones preserved throughout it. Such beauty wasted on something stupid. Something useless. Something that should not happen.

"Alright. These amoricon custams are so uniqoe." One lady said having a hard time pronouncing the words correctly.

"Come. They're waiting." And the group of ladies led me outside where guards escorted me on wards and people gathered around. I saw Roy and he made eye contact briefly. I blinked three times before he looked away. Disappearing into the crowds. The guards were big. Of a very strong looking species. I cannot take four guards such as themselves on by myself. Defenseless. Until-
