C5: His House

Second period was a bore once again. I couldn't stop thinking about Alex and how comfortable I was with him. I've never experienced anything like this and I don't know what to do. I mean yes I've hugged guys and stuff before but that was just a friendly hug. With Alex it's much more that I can't describe. I don't know what cologne he uses but it smells so good and whenever I smell it I know he's there. We were walking to third period together and I realized I didn't say anything the whole time since I was thinking. He looked deep in thought too, so I didn't want to bother him.

*Alex's POV*

Oh god what was I thinking! I shouldn't have rubbed her back what if she's freaked out now. But she put her head on my shoulder? Does she feel the same way? Then why isn't she talking to me? Jeez what did I get myself into. She was so pretty when she was laying on my shoulder. I mean she always is but the closeness made me really happy. And her vanilla and nutmeg scent makes me want to cuddle her all the time. I saw our third period classroom and realized we didn't talk. I hope she doesn't think I'm mad at her or something.

Just to make sure I nudged her with my elbow to make her look up at me. I smiled and she smiled back. So she wasn't mad at me. Noted. We walked into class and sat down. Mr. Lee just told us to work on the projects but Leileanna and I just started talking.

"I really don't wanna do this project." She huffed and puffed out her cheeks.

"Well at least you're stuck working on it with me." I smiled at her.

"Oh yeah that makes it totally better." She rolled her eyes with a smile on her face. You could tell she was being sarcastic but I acted like I thought she meant it.

"Oh uhm I-I'm sorry." I stuttered and looked down. She totally fell for it.

*Leileanna's POV*

Oh my god I wasn't being serious! He looked away and I'm mentally freaking out.

"Alex I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it I was being sarcastic." I went to grab his hand to try and make him feel better and he just smiled.

"Gooootchaaaaa." I glared at him and lightly slapped him with my free hand. We were still holding hands oh my skldjfoiaqwnmelkfjaifjh.

"That wasn't funny Alex." I pouted out my lip and he stared at me.

"I'm sorry Lei." He was looking in my eyes and I was staring into his. You could see the warmth and comfortableness just in his eyes. It was like he was a home.

"So do you want to work on the project at my place? I mean we're obviously not getting it done here so might as well when we have some more freedom." I nodded my head and smiled.

"Sounds good. I'll just text my mom and my bro at lunch and yeah." He smiled back. For the rest of the period we just talked about our families.

"Do ya have any siblings?" I asked him.

"Yeah I have three sisters named Taylor, Sidney, and Hallie."

"Well dang that's a lot of girls. Maybe I'll become better friends with them then you." I smirked at him and laughed.

"I guess I'll have to keep you away from them then."

"That'll be hard since I'm coming over to your house tonight."

"Taylor and Sydney are both in college so you'll only be seeing Hallie." I frowned and pouted out my lip.
