And then Mardon and I spoke for about 30 mins. He told me what he knew. How everything felt normal and then the idea of parents and home struck them and the miracle of how everyone met at this warehouse. But one thing that still hits me is that we exist. Only us and everyone else disappears. People but us just can't vaporize. We're still existing. It's the same New Jersey. It's the same locality. Everything is exactly the same. Just that James knows my name and Alice doesn't know me.
"Enough with the talks," James tells Mardon. He locks into my eyes and it gives me a chill. His beautiful eyes are scaring me.
"Let's go," he tells me.
I don't move but then he turns back and gives me the killer look.
