A MOM TO A SON
Son, you're the greatest gift I had;
A great inspiration just like your Dad,
Around you two... my life revolves;
In all of my dreams, you both are involved.
How lucky I am to have you, Son...
A loving kid and a smart one,
There's never a dull moment between us, two;
Just like your dad... you're silly, too.
Of all the kids I've ever known,
You've the best qualities of your own;
Your uniqueness topped them all,
And you aren't a braggart... but humble.
How nice you are in your own ways,
Nobody could beat you, that I'm sure;
You're our one and only and I must say;
That your dad and I will always treasure.
So, I hope and pray... you'll never change;
You'll stay honest, loving and humble...
To prove to the whole world we weren't mistaken,
For being so proud of you... WE'RE THAT TALL!
