"Longing"
I am here... and you are there;
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere,
All I can hear is the sound of the water...
Gushing then from the nearby river.
I felt my loneliness is quite intensifying...
As the cold breeze touches my bare skin;
Where are you now... you are nowhere in sight,
I truly long for your presence to make me feel right.
And so I asked myself... when will I see you again?
Likewise, I wonder; if you're missing me, as well?
My heart is aching... and my eyes are swelling,
Because for so many days now, I kept crying.
And then, I heard footsteps... all of a sudden;
I am still sobbing when I looked back then...
And I could really feel that my heart is pounding;
Because, there you are... sweetly smiling!
You hugged me tight then, and so our lips locked,
And I am certain now... that you're all I want;
All I can feel is your caring touch,
Need I still say... that I LOVE YOU SO MUCH?
