After waiting a few minutes for the teacher to reappear, the woman with long black hair poked her head back through the classroom door.
"You can come in now, girls." The teacher whispered gesturing to follow her.
Despite Grace clearly being the shy one, she went in first followed by Lillie who gave her mother an evil look as her mother held the door open for them.
The girls walked in slowly, being careful not to embarrass themselves by tripping over or anything.

Right as you walk through the door of the classroom, on the left, the individual desks are all neatly placed in a grid formation leaving equal amounts of space between each one. On the right wall, there is a white board and a Smartboard next to it. In the top right of the class as you walk in there is a grey teachers' desk facing the rest of the class. You can see a few filing cabinets and bookshelves at the very back filled with novels, dictionaries and a few thesauruses.

The girls stood at the front of the class while all of the students stared in boredom. It was no big deal for them. The teacher introduced them.
"Class, these are our new students:....." She waited for the girls to say their names but they stayed awkwardly silent.
"Grace" she announced as she softly touched both of Grace's shoulders.
"...and... I'm sorry, what was your name again?" She asked jokingly to assure Lillie that she wasn't going to tell anyone that she was her mom.
"Oh,that's right! Lillie!" She almost shouted.
A few wierdos at the back waved at the girls but they took no notice.
"So, Lillie and Grace, what are your traits?"
"Uhhhh....." Grace stuttered.
"Well, Grace is a Vampire and I'm a Werewolf!" Lillie interupted. Grace smiled and mouthed the word 'Thanks!'.
After Lillie had announced their traits a lot of the class members jumped out of their chairs and cheered. Some chanted 'Werewolves, werewolves!' and others chanted 'Vampires, vampires!'. Most of the students at the back didn't say a word and either shrugged or booed.
"Alright! Settle down LD!" She instructed. After the class fell quiet again she told the girls where to sit.
"Lillie, you can sit by my desk and Grace, you can sit behind Natalie in the front there." She gently nudged our backs towards our desks.
All was fine at that moment. Untill, suddenly, Lillie felt somethng in front of her feet causing her to trip forwards onto the cold hard marble floor. She didn't feel anything though. Her mother had caught her just inches away from a complete and utter faceplant.
"Careful, Lillie! We woudn't want you getting hurt now, woud we?" The teacher smiled.
The class giggled a bit at the fact Lillie tripped over, what seems to be nothing, but Lillie knew what she felt.
Lillie sat in her seat as class began. The teacher started writing on the white board, the date and her name. She pointed to the board.
"For anyone new to the class; Good morning! My name is Miss Dilaurentis."
A random girl popped her head in through the classroom door:
"Puh-luh-luh?!" She said loud enough for everyone to hear, but it only seemed to be Lillie and the red-head behind her that noticed.
"I can't pronounce that..." Lillie heard a boy mumble at the back.

{BTW if you can't pronounce it, it's 'Dil-lore-ren-tis'}

"And I'll be your English teacher for this year." Miss continued. "Today, we'll be recapping some basic punctuation..."
All of the rest Lillie didn't hear. She took this oppurtunity to scan the class while her mother was turned around.
'Well, clearly there's a mega-bitch next to me.' Lillie thought as she stared in disgust at the goth-like tall girl next to her.
'Grace is behind her....' She thought as she looked at Grace.
'A ginge behind me, a lot of "pop"s in the front, a lot of nerds in the back'
Lillie was about to turn back to the board when something caught her eye.
' WAIT.' She did a double take on a blonde boy in the second row from the front on the other side of the classroom.
'Who.Is.THAT.' She stared in awe.
Lillie realised what she was doing. Just before she was about to look away he noticed her staring. She quickly looked away to hide it. It didn't seem to bother him much, since he just smirked and looked away too.
Lillie was a about to look back to see if he'd looked away yet when she'd realised she had been oblivious to what her mother was teaching for about 10 minutes now. As she looked down at her desk to see an empty page and a carelessly placed pen next to it she heard her mother say her name.
"...Lillie, can you tell me what that is called?" Miss Dilaurentis called on her.
Lillie stared at the board, clueless to what had just been asked of her.
'What did she say?! OH MY GOD I DIDN'T HEAR HER. She can't call on me! I'm new! IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?!'
All of these thoughts rushed through her head as she just sat there staring into oblivion.
"Uhhhhhhhh......." Lillie finally said out loud.
Suddenly, Lillie heard a sour voice to her right.
"I know the answer, Miss!" The goth boasted with clear sass.
"Yes, Natalie?" Miss Dilaurentis sighed.
"It's called an apostrophe." Natalie answered mockingly as she gave an evil side smirk to Lillie.
"Well done, Natalie." Miss wrote the answer on the board and then turned back to Lillie.
"Lillie, next time pay attention" Her mother gave her a stern look.
'Damn it' Lillie thought.
A few more minutes passed. It was almost the end of the lesson. You could tell because everyone started fidgeting and slowly putting their pencil cases in their bags.
"For our plenary..." She began. What is the definition of 'perspicacious'? She finished.
The whole class fell silent. After a few seconds everyone started laughing.
"How do you expect us to know this stuff?!" a boy yelled almost falling of his chair laughing.
"Never heard that word before in my life!" A girl at the back yelled amongst the hysterical laughter of the entire class.
"Class, settle down! I was just kidding. You're all in 9th grade, I don't expect you to know this."
Miss was about to turn and rub the word off of the board when she heard a lone chair screech against the floor.
Everyone turned to see Grace out of her seat standing at her desk.
"Yes, Grace?" She was confused to why she was standing.
Grace sighed
" The definition of perspicacious: Having a ready insight into and understanding of things." Grace stated without a stutter.
The class stared in astonishment. Everyone started mumbling and whispering to eachother as Grace sat back down slowly while looking down at her desk.
"Wow, Grace! How did you know that?" Miss D asked still shocked at what she'd just witnessed.
Grace was about to speak when the school bell rang. Everyone exited the classroom as a hoard in a matter of seconds, as did Grace.
'Wow' Lillie thought.

{Sup, Interwebs! Thanks for reading this chapter. I know this one was really long (1248 words... wow!) but I didn't want to put one lesson into two chapters. Leave a comment of what you think.
Toodles!!!}
