Lillie and Grace walked amongst the crowd of students making their way to the main entrance where the schedule board was.
Grace glanced at it as they went passed.
"Science." She murmured to Lillie blankly.
"Cool! I quite like science. Do you, Grace?" Lillie asked casually.
"I don't know yet. I want to know what the teacher is like first. But just the subject on it's own; I find it very interesting!" Grace answered.
"That's why I like it. There's so much material.... it's fascinating!" Lillie stated enthusiastically.
When they got to the science corridor, west of the school, they saw a bunch of the same students from English, but a few new ones because different classes had different sets.
"Why are there different people in this class?" Lillie side whispered to Grace as they lined up outside the classroom.
"They put Witches, Werewolves, Vampires and other forms of Wizards in the top set. Along with Ghosts and Fairies."
"Ohhhhh." Lillie said.
The teacher stood at the door holding it open while she welcomed each person.
"Hello. Good Morning. Good Morning. Hello. Hello. Good morning...... Kevin."
"Miss Green." Kevin answered.
"What was that about?" Lillie asked Grace.
"Mmm." Grace shrugged.
They entered the classroom with everyone else while the teacher had a separate conversation with that 'Kevin' kid.
Lillie and Grace sat down towards the back at a paired desk. They could hear muffled yelling at the front from the Kevin guy while the teacher just stood there in shock while a group of guys started going "OHHHHH!!!!!!".
"Haha! I think that teacher's getting dissed by Kevin!" Lillie pointed as she tapped Grace on the shoulder.
Everyone in the class either laughed or went "OHHHHHHH!!!!!". Soon after, a big man in a suit came to get Kevin and class began.
"Ok, class my name is Miss Green, very simple and easy to remember.... before we get started; I'm putting you all into a seating arrangement."
The entire class groaned. Miss Green used a small remote to turn on the Smart Board, it showed a seating arrangement with everyone's name on it.
Everyone went to the front to look where their names were and sat in their seats.
"Yes!" Lillie silently cheered to herself.
She was on an 'L' shaped table towards the back left of the classroom with Chase to her left and Grace to her right next to another girl and boy that they didn't know.
Lillie turned from the board and to her
suprise;.........
'Natalie...!' Lillie thought angrily while clenching her fists.
Natalie was in her seat next to Chase. He didn't seem to like it either. He was there ranting to Natalie while she just sat there looking at her nails.
"I'm not moving." She said sternly.
"But that's not your seat! Lillie is supposed to sit there!" Chase argued back.
"Excuse me? Who?!" Natalie seemed annoyed now.
"Me." Lillie stood in front of the desk slamming her folder down. "I sit here." Lillie stated.
"Why do you want to sit there anyway?!" Chase seemed to be just as irritated as Lillie at this point.
"Ugh!" Natalie rolled her eyes then moved to her assigned seat.
"Grunch..." Lillie muttered under her breath.
"Tell me about it.... She just can't get over it!" Chase said as they sat down.
"Get over what?" Lillie turned to Chase.
Chase opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by the teacher starting the lesson.
"Okay, class I know it's our first science lesson but today I wanted to do a practical!" She pointed the remote to the board and switched to the next slide. "Today we are testing how different liquids react with fairy dust!"
"Oh. Cool." Lillie said to no-one in particular.
"Yes!" Chase whispered to himself with an evil smirk appearing on his face.
"What are you planning?" Lillie whispered.
"I'll tell ya in a minute. Are you in?" Chase offered a fist bump.
"Hell yeah!" Lillie bumped back.
*Both make explosion noises* They both giggled and went to the front to get their practical supplies. Lillie grabbed a box of 3 different liquids and Chase got the 3 different jars of fairy dust.
"Alright so there are 9 possible combinations." Lillie stated looking at the boxes.
"Right." Chase was about to grab the beaker of water when Miss stopped him.
"Wait! Before you start.... I need to explain what each thing is; you all should have 3 liquids and 3 different colours of fairy dust. You have water, milk and orange juice along with red, blue and purple dust. Just remember..: DO NOT... AND I MEAN IT!!..... DO NOT mix the purple dust and orange juice! But any other combination is fine!" She turned back to her desk to mark papers as the class got on with the experiment.
"You thinkin what I'm thinkin?" Lillie gave a devilish smirk to Chase as he gave it back. Chase didn't even answer before he put the beaker of purple dust in the middle of the desk. Lillie had a pippet with a drop of orange juice in it.
"Ready?" Lillie hovered the pippet over the beaker. Chase nodded and they glanced over to Miss Green who was busy marking, so she had no idea what was about to happen.
"On three...." Lillie said.

"One..."
"Two........"
"THREE!!!"

Lillie dropped the orange juice into the beaker and they both ducked down under the desk ready for impact. A few moments passed.
"Huh?" Lillie said confused as they stood back up.
"What?! Nothing? Really?!" Chase ranted.
"Lame!" Lillie moaned as she leaned her elbows on the desk putting her chin in her hands.
"Wait.... Do you smell that?" Chase sniffed the air.
"Yeah..... it smells like......*sniff*.....fruit?" Lillie questioned.
"And...... *sniff sniff* GUNPOWDER?!" Chase realised the smell was coming from the beaker.
All of a sudden along with a loud 'boom' the room around them turned pitch black and faded to grey smoke.
"*Cough cough*" Lillie waved at the smoke to woft it away.
"*Cough*..... Can't breathe..... *Cough*" Chase mumbled.
The smoke around them faded to reveal everyone in the class staring at them, as well as Miss Green.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! Miss Green screamed at them.
Lillie and Chase looked at each other in shock to reveal that they both had their hair stuck up like crazy scientists and black dust all over them. They couldn't help but laugh.
"HAHAHAHA!!!!" Lillie screamed.
"HAHAHHAHAHA YOU LOOK LIKE ALBERT EINSTEIN!!!!" Chase almost fell over from laughter.
"Mate, have you seen your face? Hahaha!!!" Lillie let out between laughs.
Soon the whole class was giggling at their mischief when the teacher got up angrily from her desk and stomped towards Chase and Lillie.
"You think this is funny?! I specifically told you NOT to mix the purple dust and orange juice!!! Detention for the both of you, in Room 13 after school!" Miss shouted at them.
"But...!" Chase argued.
"NO BUTTS!" Miss yelled.
The class giggled at what she said.
"Enough! Now everyone put your equipment away! The bell is about to ring." Miss went back to her desk.
"Hey... at least we didn't make too much of a mess." Chase nudged Lillie.
"Yeah, but we totally messed ourselves up!" Lillie motioned towards herself and Chase.
The two laughed and put their equipment away.
"What was all that about?" Grace giggled to Lillie.
"Just a little experiment" Lillie winked at Grace.
"Well since you'll be in detention, I'm going to hang out with Heather." Grace pointed to the girl on her right. Heather appeared to be a girl putting a tall boy's hair in a very tiny pony tail.
"Ummm okay?...." Lillie said a little wierded out.
"Oh and the dude with the unicorn-pony-tail... Yeah.... that's Jack." Grace pointed to the tall dude.
" 'Sup." He nodded at Lillie. She waved
and turned back to Chase.

*Bell rings*

"See you in detention!" Chase saluted to Lillie as he ran off to clean himself up. She saluted back as she packed up her stuff and went to the bathroom.
