I was born an raised in the country where the weeds grow tall in the crops grow bright. You could see miles and miles of land never ending. The most beautiful part of being out there was watching the sunrise and sunset often the distance.
At night time you could hear the frogs in the puddles and ponds sometimes even the lakes. They would all go at once croaking in talking to one another. Pass all the cooking you could hear the crickets chirping but even more pass that you could hear the coyotes howling off farther off at the distance , at the bright ,white ,looking moon.
Sometimes I would stay up late at night just listening to everything going on around me and enjoy the outdoors. Times like these you would grab a blanket and go outside and look at this shining stars sometimes you wouldn't even need a blanket you are  really could do was lay on the soft ,cold ground. It's amazing what nature can do to make sure everything is going the way it should. You could wake up in the morning at 5 o'clock waking up to the roosters cock-a-doodling. There more or less Tongass it was time to get up and feed them.
Typically it was around six or 7 AM. Most the days where consist of feeding cattle ,chickens ,maybe pigs. Armor is a kid it going to Joe's house of feeding the cattle out of my hand the tongue was rougher than anything, it felt like sandpaper.
My cousins around with play in the mud and have mud wars . They always tell us you're not coming in the house and less you wash off with the water hose . Sometimes I would steal the water hose  from one another and hose everyone down with water for the fun of it . By then the adults were even more mad and tell us to dry off before coming in. The good thing about being out in the country was laying down in the sun to dry off quicker while we are at it we would either get Tanner some times sun burnt depending on how hot it got.
