(The front of Windsor is pictured above)
Tired, and jet lagged we all stumbled into the school's van, our luggage was loaded in the back. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit Kayden's shoulder, but not a deep sleep. I could hear Mr. Rossi start the van, and the chit-chattering of Alyssa, Paige and Taylor.
The ride home was bumpy and long, they still hadn't finished construction and that meant the roads were gravel before you got to the luxurious street, windsor avenue which is where the school was. That's why the schools called Windsor, named after the street. Windsor avenue is where all the Richy rich people live, as we drove through the paved streets, the sprawling green, freshly cut lawns sparkled in the sunlight, with the morning dew. The yellow sun streamed through the windows as we approached the big, black iron gates marking our arrival back to Windsor.
The gates opened automatically and shut as soon as we pulled in. The van pulled to a stop, and all of us filed out, rubbing our eyes from the immense amount of sunlight there was on the drive way. The first thing on my mind was going back to my dorm with Paige and taking a shower. I couldn't wait. School was tomorrow and that meant catching up on work.
Upon arriving in the dorm room, a card from Audrey, our new dorm moniter was sitting on both of our beds, explaining the big tests we missed, the current marks in all of our classes, and the dreaded topic of sex, which we had missed the once a year sex education class when we were gone. I sighed, and scanned my card, mostly my grades. A's in all of them except for English. Ah well. That could easily be fixed by doing the massive amount of English homework I had missed.
I rubbed my stomach as it growled, and I scanned my phone, looking at pictures on Facebook. One picture stopped me though. It was a picture of my mom and the new owner of the law firm kissing. That wasn't even the worst part. It made me sick just looking at it. The worst part? My mom had her hand placed gently on top of her pregnant belly and the caption of the picture was;
"Enjoying a 7 month babymoon with my husband to be! 😘💕💍"
I dropped my phone on the floor, hearing a sickening shatter of the screen. I didn't care- not at the moment. I flung myself onto the bed, and cried into my pillow, feeling flustered and angry, and confused all at the same time. Why wouldn't she tell me, that a) she was engaged again and b) that she was freakin' pregnant?
My mom was 7 months pregnant with a baby brother or sister, had gotten engaged and she didn't tell me?
[ a/n; really short chapter but enjoy the cliff hanger! ☺️love you guys lots! ]
