Snow woke up to her alarm blaring. She reached over and slammed her fist on the off button. She got up, Her pale blonde hair was full of tangles, and she had dried spit on the side of her face. She slid her feet onto the floor and walked to her vanity. She stared at her picture of her and her group of friends, remembering the day that picture was taken. It was their first middle school dance, and Snowy had pizza all over her face. Her friends were laughing and having so much fun, it was almost criminal. Snowy's friend Sophia and her twin sister, Gabriella, were both trying to mirror pose with the same drinks and outfits just to be funny. Emma, the group information gatherer, was rocking her Minnie Mouse skirt and her mouse ears. Jack, the gamer know it all, was making faces with his drawn on mustache and his joke tuxedo t-shirt. Maggie, the group's peacekeeper, was rocking her unzipped jacket, her hunter green polo, and her black skinny jeans. They were all posed on disney themed props with their sodas in hand. Snow smiled at the four year old picture, wishing times were that simple. Snow brushed her hair and changed out of her pajamas into her school uniform, A white polo shirt with her student ID clipped on her grey pleated skirt. She grabbed her Sword Art Online anime themed messengers bag, plugged in her earphones, and walked out the door. She opened up her Pandora and pressed her nightcore station. She smiled and put her earbuds in, knowing she was going to be two hours early.

Snow ran to the front of her apartment complex to see that Sophia's mom was already here in her huge soccer mom van with Jack, Sophia, Gabby, Emma, and Maggie. Snow opened the door to hear Sophia's mom say: "Welcome to S.S teenager hormones!" She said as Gabby and Sophie were scowling at each other. Snow rolled her eyes and smiled. Maggie was sitting between Sophie and Gabby to keep the peace between the two, Jack was sitting in the back with Emma, and there was one seat open in the front. She sat down in the seat, playing her playlist while staring deep out of the window. She though of being happy, where she wasn't dragged down by her dark past. She put on a mask and smiled anyway.

Snow sat and listened to her History teacher waste half the class time with her life storys, she was bored out of her skull. She watched the clock, with two minuets left of class before lunch. The whole class watched the clock tick to 12:30, and pushed each other out of the door. She walked the halls, gathering Sophia and Gabby in class 2-B, Maggie in class 2-C, Emma in 4-C, and Jack in the dance room. Snow and her group walked into the cafeteria, seeing the large lunch lines at the pizza booth. They all quickly decided on the taco salad line to save time. They walked outside to the wall, which was on the edge of school grounds. Snow's group wasn't popular, or unpopular, athletic, artistic, or even funny. Their group was invisible to those who didn't know them. She pulled out her phone and connected to the nearest internet. She typed in the web address to her favorite chat forum. She noticed a new message. "What the..." Snow said in a reaction. "What?" The whole group said in unison. "Oh, um... It's uh... nothing." Snow said. She had gotten a message from 'System' . She tapped on it, feeling very unsure about this message. She tapped on it, she started getting a weird feeling. Snow suddenly felt very lightheaded, she felt as if she were going to pass out. Her phone hit the soft grass, getting the attention of everyone. "S- Snowy?!" Sophia said. "A- Are you... OK?" Gabby asked, unsure. Snow couldn't move, she was stuck. Then, she blacked out, the last sounds she heard was her friends freaking out.
