Chapter 9, Part 2 of 4 (Zayn and Liam)
Zayn POV:
Things have been going great today, the shopping in London was impeccable, despite it being a busy tourist season. Everyone loved the spa treatment, surprisingly Geoff more than everyone. Karen couldn’t stop giggling during the pedicure, she wasn’t lying when she said her feet were ticklish.
Even though I have been living with the Payne’s for over a year today was a solid reminder that I am actually a part of this family. I guess deep down I always knew it, but today I really felt it, everything seems super real today.
We arrive at the restaurant, well actually our five star hotel. I was told they have the best food in all of London. Sitting down at the table I feel something is bothering Liam. He has been quite fidgety since we left the car and it is worrying me, is he okay?
Liam POV:
Holy Shit! I am nervous and it is showing. I want this to happen but I also feel bad because my boyfriend’s money would be the deciding factor of all this. I get it my family is really wealthy, my Dad does really well for us but none of the money is really mine. I need a job. Zayn was thinking of getting his tattooing license and maybe working or buying one the shops in town. I on the other hand don’t know what the fuck I want to do, maybe this question will help me man up and show me how to be an independent adult.
Once the food is ordered I lift up my glass and take the spoon to it calling for everyone’s attention. “I have and announcement to make.”
“You have our attention son” My dad nods.
“Well Zayn I know we have only been together for a year and a bit now and we really didn’t have an anniversary or anything but I guess what I am trying to ask you is will you officially move in with me, like get our own place?”
“Oh my god yes!” he beams. He moves closer to me and gives me a big kiss on the forehead.
“I have been waiting for this day for a while now baby”
“Mom, Dad? Is this ok?”
“Yes Honey we will help you guys find the perfect place, maybe next to the tattoo parlour Zayn just bought?” My mother suggests.
“Hold up Zayn you bought the parlour?”
“Yeah and also I may have enrolled you in the university down the road from there…” he adds.
“Oh my god what?”
“Yeah we are going to have a great life together Liam, me and you.”
