part 1: introduction

"Rachel can you answer the question." Mr manic says
I stop drawing patterns in my book and look up
"What?" I say back
"Rachel if you don't pay attention you're not gonna make it past this class." He says
"It's math class. I don't care." I reply and lean back on my chair.
"You're not leaving this class until you answer question 3c." He says
"Jeez can you just get off my crack?" I say with a disgusted look on my face.
"Rachel, question 3c" he says
"Fine." I say and look at the question
240 divided by 8
"30" I say replying to him then go back to leaning back on my chair
"Yes. See that wasn't so hard." He says and smiles then turns back to the board
I roll my eyes and whisper "Fuck off."
Time skip to after school
When me and my friends get back home we walk into the house
"Hey Rachel." I hear jj say from the kitchen.
"Hey jj." I say and tell my friends I'll be in my room in a sec and they go upstairs to my room.
I walk into the kitchen and there's jj, vikk, Josh, and Simon.
"Hey guys." I say and walk to the fridge to get a bottle of beer.
My roommates aren't 18 like me. There's Josh and Simon who are 24, jj whos 23 and vikk who's 21. They're youtubers and they have millions of subscribers.
"Yo Rachel im gonna get nandos can you give 10 dollars so we can all split the bill." Josh says.
I pull out 20 dollars and put it on the table.
"You better give me the change ok?" I say and point at them jokingly.
"Sure..." Simon says
"Seriously." I say walking out smiling.
"See ya Rachel!" They all laugh as I walk around the corner.
"Bye." I say and walk up the stairs to my room with the beer bottle.
When I get there Chloe's playing on the guitar and Max and Ella are sitting on the couch. I open up the bottle with the bottle opener on the bed side table, then sit down on my bed.
"In math class today mr manic was being so fucking annoying. He would not stop riding me about how I'm gonna fail." I say and then take a swig.
"Wait you're failing math class? You have to be really high to fail math bro." Ella says.
"Oi shut up." I say and laugh.
I know this sounds pretty arrogant but our group of four are the people the good kids avoid. See everyone at school has a reputation no matter how small it is. Our reputation isn't small and isn't good. Mostly everyone knows that we've been drinking and smoking before we were 18 but nobody tells. I don't know why but I don't care. Me and Chloe were friends in kindergarten but then she was the popular kid, but gladly she came to her senses and realised how lame they are and came over to us rejects. The reason she left was because the popular kids got scared of her. In grade 6 she died her hair and they thought it was cool but then she started changing and hanging out with other groups and mixing, they didn't like that. One night Chloe was being Chloe and getting high off illegal weed and decided that since they were making her choose she decided to leave them. Max was a perfectly fine person, but was often neglected. Her grades were fine but then her parents decided to leave her and run away together. Her aunties and uncles didn't want her so she ended up moving in with her brother who is stupidly cool. He understands how she's just bored with everyone and doesn't know what to think anymore so he lets her go out on the weekends and get drunk. She gets drunk on the weekend and high every other night because there's not much of a hangover but she goes out like every night. She's changed a lot. Probably not for the better, but we don't care. Ella, well ella was never really that good. She was born in a dodgy neighbourhood so she herself became pretty dodgy. She's been bulimic since she was 12 because she wanted to be like this one girl in our primary school so she took the quick way. Now she doesn't want to be like her she just can't stop. Well I grew up in the same dodgy town as Ella so I had to deal with a lot of bad shit but I moved but got depression so now I cut but they don't care.
We sat and talked and sometimes danced for about two hours until Max had to leave to get ready since it was Friday. Everyone else left too since it was 5 so dinner would be soon at their house. Chloe left a few minutes later than everyone else so she could smoke her weed at my house because her parents would freak. When everyone left I went downstairs to see that there was nandos. I grabbed some chicken then sat down with everyone else. I've lived with these guys since I was 16 because my parents emotionally and sexually abused me. I had to leave
the house but most of my family hated me for getting my mom in trouble so I couldn't live with them. Me and Harry were somewhat friends in high school. Well not really but online we messaged each other quite a bit so I was telling him about what happened and he said he would adopt me if he could (it's the thought that counts lol) but he couldn't because he was only like 17. I started hanging out with his friends Josh, jj, Simon, and Vik (a few other people too) and as soon as they found out about my situation because the little shit Harry told them, they invited me to live with them. I took the situation and that's why I live with them now.
I finished my food and washed my plate while talking to them. I was about to leave when I remembered.
"Josh, give me my $10" I say turning back around.
"God damn it, you almost forgot." Josh said and gives me my $10
"Wait Rachel we forgot to tell you about tomorrow." Vikk says and I walk backwards back to the kitchen.
"What's supple with tomorrow?" I say and look from person to person.
"We're gonna film some football videos. Wanna come along?" Simon asked.
"Sure. What time?" I say
"We're leaving at around 8am." Jj says
"Ok, can I bring my friends?" I ask
"Ye sure." Vik and Josh say
"Friends? What friends?" Simon says and jj also looks confused.
Oh Ye I forgot they haven't met them yet.
"They come around here everyday after school guys come on. Whatever you'll meet them tomorrow." I say and stand in the doorway.
"Are they similar to you?" Jj says
"Ye they are." I say
"Jesus one Rachel is enough I don't want anymore." Jj smiles
"Oi fuck off." I say and ram into jj almost making him fall off his chair.
We all laugh then I leave so I can package some of their merch to send to different places. When I finish its 8:35 so I text everyone in the group chat to see if they wanna come over around 7:30am. I take a shower then put on some clothes and do some homework. When I finish all my homework it's 10pm. Well I have to get up early so imma go to sleep.

Alright this is my first book on wattpad and the first chapter so I'm very sorry if it's shit and basic and cheesy but I have a pole up my ass so I'm sorry. Why must I be like this?

Edit: reading this whole thing again in ages and UGH so basic not a tinge of originality kill me now. also in a later chapter i said she was vegetarian but in this chapter (before i edited it) i said she just finished eating chicken. fuck im dumb.
