Late night texts
and words of encouragement
when I'm feeling down
and if I'm sad
you [always] ask what's wrong
and I [nearly always] tell you
and my head on your shoulder
on the train back home
is just another reminder
of how much you love me
as much as you say you do
every night before we drift off to sleep
with smiles on our faces.
(People think it's weird we're not dating.)

My Lies
