Chapter 2: "Brave New World"

It's a new day in Homestead and sunlight shines throughout Kim's house. Kim wakes up cuddling to Jassel on her bed. Jassel soon opens his eyes as he wakes up and they both smile at each other while still laying down, and share a good morning kiss.

"I'm going to go brush my teeth.",

Kim tells Jassel before getting up and proceeding outside the room towards the bathroom. As she walks by Daniel's room, she sees him staring at the window.pmliin

"Daniel? Are you okay?", she asks him.

Daniel doesn't respond and instead turns around giving Kim a serious demonic look.

"Daniel? What's wrong?", she asks once again.

"You're a traitor, your with an angel. YOU DESERVE TO DIE!",

Daniel tells her before rushing towards Kim and pushing her back against the wall, and grabbing her by the neck. Kim screams, immediately alerting Jassel, who rapidly gets up from the bed and rushes outside to see Daniel chocking her. He grabs Daniel and pulls him back.

"Daniel! What's wrong with you that's your sister!", Jassel yells at him.

Daniel suddenly closes his eyes for a moment and opens them again.

"What happened? How did I get to the hallway?", Daniel asks himself.

All of a sudden he starts to tremble and shake as his veins start to get black all around his arms, legs, and face. Kim quickly holds him as Daniel leans over to her and she hugs him to try to make it go away.

Jason, Alex, and Iris rush out of their rooms hearing the commotion going on and all watch in horror watching this unknown disease take over Daniel's body.

Everyone heads downstairs and Kim and Jassel lay Daniel down on the sofa as he starts to tremble again.

"Oh my god Jay what are we going to do!?", Kim asks him, getting really tense.

"I don't know, but in order to figure out what to do, we have to know what is causing this.", Jassel responds.

"Melinda! Can you hear me?", Jassel yells.

Melinda suddenly appears and has a very worried look on her face.

"I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to help you on this.", she tells them.

"What? Why!?", Jassel yells.

"I've seen this before, it looks like someone has injected him with an extremely rare and ancient demonic virus. He is turning into a demon and we don't work with demons. It's against our orders.", Melinda explains.

"It must be Brian but the bigger question is, how the hell did he get in this house!?!", Jason asked himself.

"I don't know, that's what we're asking ourselves as well. Whatever Brian is planning is not good at all, and I wish I could help but I can't.", Melinda responded.

"Come on! He's just a thirteen year old boy!", Iris yelled.

"I'm sorry.", she says, soon disappearing.

"Fantastic!",

Jassel yells sarcastically as Kim starts to walk around in circles starting to cry.

"Ahh! My head is burning me!!!",

Daniel yelled in pain as the black substance circulated through his fragile body.

"Wait I think I know someone who could help us. A young witch in her mid twenties named Adelaide used to own a store next to a pet store. I used to go there all the time to play with the puppies. The witch store next door was filled with herbs and potions about ten minutes away from my house. I still remember her tan skin and jet black hair.", Jassel said remembering.
