Forever and Always

Chapter Ten

I woke up to my phone blasting "The Black" By Asking Alexandria.

What a beautiful way to wake up.

But everything beautiful disappeared when I realized why my alarm went off at 6:00 in the morning.

I turned onto my stomach and hid my face between all of my pillows.

I sat there for at least 10 minutes thinking of any possible way to get out of this.

But nothing came to mind, so I slowly sat up and walked to my bathroom.

I quickly showered so that I had time to style my hair and do my makeup. Once I was done I dried my body and my bright blue hair.

I grabbed my speaker and my phone so that I could listen to music as I got ready.

I decided to listen to "Bewitched" By blood on the dance floor.

I styled my hair and did my everyday makeup which consisted of: Black Smokey eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and mascara.

I kinda felt pretty today...

But I washed the thought out of my head before I ended up disappointed.

I walked back into my room and grabbed my black ripped stretchy skinny jeans, a nirvana belly shirt and a thin black sweatshirt that had a skull on the back.

I'm so scared...

I looked into the mirror and grabbed my upper left arm with my right hand.

I let out a loud sigh, and grabbed my bracelets just in case my sweatshirt moved up and exposed my cuts.

I looked around for an old backpack to hold all of my school supplies. I decided to use my black one.

I grabbed my phone, headphones, charger and something that I couldn't leave without...

My eyes traced from the floor straight to the bathroom drawer...

I walked over to the bathroom and slowly opened the drawer. I shut it carefully holding the blade in my left Palm.

I grabbed my phone and put the blade in the back of my phone case.

"There..."

I half smiled and sat on my bed.

My eyes stared straight at the blank wall infront of me, trying as hard as I could to not cry.

Knock knock.

"Alex, I have your school supplies could you open up..."

I walked to the door and unlocked it.

She handed me a bag full of notebooks, pens,pencils and other school stuff.

I looked at her and smiled.

I've never had new school supplies before... I've always reused them year after year or I'd just go without...

"Thank you"

Her face lit up when she saw me smile.

"Are you ready for your first day of school?"

She tilted her head a little with a cheerful look in her eyes.

I let my facial expressions fade away.

"Yeah"

I looked down.

She offered breakfast but I wasn't hungry.

Chasity decided to drive me to school earlier than she planned.

I slipped on my black combat boots and headed out to her car. We passed the park on the way to school but the boy wasn't there.

"I'll walk you to the office so that you can get your schedule and other fun stuff."

"Okay"

She looked at me with a concerned expression, but I just ignored it.

10 minutes later we passed a sign that said:

SOUTH WEST HIGH SCHOOL

She pulled into the parking lot and got out of her car.

"Do you have all of your stuff?"

I nodded and tightened my grip on my phone.

I grabbed my backpack and let it hang off of one shoulder as we walked into the school.

I could feel everyone starring at me as I walked down this never ending hall.

Not only am I the new kid, but I'm the new kid in the middle of the fucking school year.

I looked forward trying to avoid eye contact with anyone.

Finally, we got to the office.

We walked in and immediately we were greeted by the principle.

Nothing to fancy happened. She gave me my schedule, lock combination and stuff like that.

Once our conversation was over Chasity tried giving me a hug but I backed away.

I could tell that I hurt her feelings...

But I didn't seem to care.
