After arriving to the cabin, Chris released Scott and John, slowly walking towards John with caution obvious in his face. "She alright?" Chris tried to look caring. "Yea..she's not hurt...this is her mom's blood.." He says looking down at the girl. This triggers her to smile very widely at Chris. Chris slightly grows a smile in response, quickly correcting it.
Scott starts wandering towards the cabin, realizing all the people around the lake have disappeared, as well as the front door on the cabin being busted in. He tells Chris, making Chris walk into the cabin. Freak, John, and his girl, Cam, Ake, and Al, all wait at the car in case something happened.
Scott checks the kitchen for food, finding two small boxes of cereal, but then hears something squeaking on the staircase in the living room. In a hurry, he rushes out, only to see Chris staring intently up the stairs. He sees Chris slowly slip his foot from one stair, to the next. Scott then follows Chris.
Chris sees but one door at the top of the stairs. He opens the door, as silently as he can. Over his shoulder, Scott freezes in a big shock of horror. Chris looks into the room to see a bedroom, and two creatures clawing at the door of a closet that opens in a folding motion. Chris shoots one 10 times in the head with his AK. It falls in response, hitting the floor with a loud splat of what sounds to be playing putty. As Chris fires his last bullet, the other creature looks at him angrily, before dead sprinting towards him. It arrived within a second. Scott, stepping out of shock, realizes the disgusting sound, only to then see Chris get tackled by the creature who had sprinted at him. Scott tries to pry it away from Chris, but can't manage. Scott then punches it, only to make it look up at him. At that moment, Chris pushed the monster off. Then a gunshot was heard behind the two. Scott looks behind him, to see a hefty, black teen aiming an Uzi towards the direction of the creature. The teen looks at Chris, smiling. Scott notices the boy has a small gold tooth where his canine should be. Chris greets the boy with a "Come close enough, Ake?" The boy begins to laugh. "I didn't want ya to get too hurt, Boss." The two are laughing for a good few minutes. Then, a small creak is heard behind them. The group all turn around. Chris and Scott both hear Ake say: ".....Shit..."
