So I do this thing. I save Wattpad stories into my library and once I compile a bunch of stories, I choose one to read. Over time I add more stories into my library and the stories I added long ago become that of the past... Eventually I cross paths with them again and decide, "Hey, maybe it's time I read you!"
Moral of the story: read stories right away, because they may be exactly what you're looking to read.
I've had this story sitting in my library for WAY too long. And when I finally started reading it, I realized it was totally worth it.
This story gave me a "The Other CEO" and "She's With Me" vibe, and those are two incredible stories. Eros reminded me of the hot-headed and insanely gorgeous Pierce from "The Other CEO", while Jade reminded me of the mysterious and secretive Amelia from "She's With Me".
However, the characters from TGHNN were very much different from those stories.
I kind of loved how stubborn Jade was at first with Eros about taking the job. And even though Eros was a difficult person, I feel like Jade understood Eros in a way. The two came from very different backgrounds, but I loved how they came together. I figured out Jade's secret identity very early on in the story, but it would have taken me a while to figure out her big secret. And I was thinking of really drastic measures for the Gonzales's reason to take Eros's money, so I didn't expect that end result.
By the way, I stayed up until 2:30 in the morning last night reading/finishing this story. I've also finished what Neilani has written in the sequel, "The Girl He Ever Noticed". And now I'm reading Eros's sister's (Chloe) story called "Catch Me".
