At first, I wasn't entirely sure with reading this story. I was so used to reading stories on wattpad where the girl main character's body is perfectly figured and has the right curves. But bluriver went against society's stereotypical ways and made the main character not so slim-and-trim. Instead, Emily (the main character) was full figured. That's just one of the reasons I loved this story.
Bluriver also didn't fall into the 'cliché' with the love story. Yes, Elle was that basic cheerleader who dated a jock and all she wanted was sex, but Elle was more than that. She was a very complex character. (I'm not going to go any further because I would be giving some things away.) There's also the fact that the love story in "And Then He Fell" wasn't just about looks, although that's an added bonus, but it was about the personalities and traits that the character had.
Getting to know Emily and loving the person she is, I eventually loved that she wasn't some skin-and-bones girl. I loved that she was thick and that she didn't mind it.
It's not all about looks, guys. It's about the person you are and the person you want to be.
With that being said, (get ready for my usual all caps freak out session about this story) I LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH!!!! AND I JUST WANT TO THANK THE AUTHOR FOR GOING AGAINST SOCIETY'S RULES!!!
