~Lexie's POV~ ~3 months later~ Yay! It's the end of school for summer! Me and James are the best of friends! Me and Joey are great too but it haunts me that I love him but we can't be together. He would never like me but I plan to tell him about my feelings today. I jump out of bed and I put on a summery outfit (in media) as its summer now!

I grab my penny board and I ride down the street to the park, where I asked to meet Joey. I said to meet at 1:00 but I'm late! It's 1:15!! Oops... I arrive and I see Joey on the baby swings acting like a kid. He's so funny! "Hey, is everything okay?" He asks while trying to get out of the baby swings. "Yea, I just wanted to tell you something." I say nervously. "Your moving away aren't you?" Joey says upset. "No, no, no!" I say with a laugh. "Your dying?" He asks. I shake my head no and he continues to guess but every time he fails but eventually I'll have to tell him. "Just tell me." He says impatiently. "I love you." I mutter under my breath. "I didn't catch that." Joey says while changing the pitch of his voice. "I l-love you." I say shyly. Joey picks me up and swings me around while I'm still really embarrassed of what I said before. "I thought you didn't like me!" Joey says relieved. "Nope! I like- no. I love you." I say smiling. He puts me down and we talk the whole afternoon. We didn't want things awkward so we made it so we were dating but we acted like how we used to when we were friends. So we would do couple things but we would still be the inseparable two, Joey and Lexie. Eventually, I had to go home. "Joey?" I ask him. "Yep?" He asks. "I have good news and bad news." I say smirking. "Bad news." He says grumpily. "I have to go home now." I say with a laugh. He pulls a pouting face and I laugh at him. "Good news?" Joey asks hopefully. "I have a nickname for you!" I say smiling. "And that is?" He asks motioning me to carry on. "Jojo!" I say giving him a side hug. "Cute." He says blankly. He then walks me home and gives me a kiss on my cheek causing the army in my stomach pronounce war once again. How can one guy be so cute? *bing Bing* When I get to my room, I see I have a text from James! James😇: why was Joey kissing your cheek? Me: how did you see that? James😇: I was walking on the other side of the road. Why did he kiss your cheek? Me: we are dating. James😇: since when did you like him? Me: since forever. James😇: but don't you remember? Me: remember what? James😇: your first day? ~flashback~ I take a big breath and I step inside. But, once I turn around to find Joey, he's gone! I frantically run around trying to find him but I don't have any luck. I turn around and I bump into a girl that could be a model! She's so pretty! "Watch it?!" She roars. Everyone turns and laughs at me. The new girl on the floor already being humiliated. Great. Suddenly, a hand has been stretched for me to take. It was a cute boy. "Hey, my name is James!" He says smiling. "Hi James, I'm Lexie." I say. "Come, I'll take you to the principals office." He says motioning me to follow him. ~end of flashback~ James😇: I helped you when he didn't. Me: I know but I still like him. James😇: when did he come find you and help you? Me: never. But that's not the point. James😇: do you even know what my point is? Me: yes of course I do. James😇: go on then. I don't reply for a good five minutes as I was thinking of what James' point was. James😇: I knew it. James😇: my point is that, Joey won't help you when you need it. Someone else will come along and help you while he stands in the crowd and ignores you. Me: he didn't ignore me! James😇: well, where was he then? Me: I don't know. James😇: my point exactly. I don't reply to him as he's trying to pick a fight. It's not my fault that I love Joey! I just do! No one can help who they fall in love with!
