All I could think about was her

~Lexie's POV~
I jump out of bed and run to the shower. I quickly shower and I put on one of my favourite outfits. (In media).
I run downstairs and see Ben eating his breakfast. He scowls at me as of the incident that happened last night but I brush it off and I continue with my morning.
I grab an apple and I munch on it before leaving to walk to school.
After my apple I grab my bag and I head outside to walk to school.
Surprisingly, Joey was waiting outside!
"Hey Joey!" I say smiling while walking beside him.
"Hey lex!" He says with a funny face. I couldn't help but laugh. He's so funny!
I feel a rush of butterflies explode inside of me!
Everyday that I'm with him they get stronger. Like an army!
My face was starting to get hot. It took my a while before I realised what was happening.
I was blushing... Over Joey!!
Before I knew it, we were at school.
Joey grabs my wrist causing the army in my tummy to what feels like start war.
He drags me to his locker making sure that I wasn't left behind.
"I'm not going to leave you today." Joey says smiling.
"What about James?" I ask.
"You want to spend the day with him? Fine, go on then." Joey says stubbornly.
"No, no, no, I was just asking." I say seriously.
"Oh good! I thought you didn't want to spend today with me!" Joey says relieved.
I shake my head no and we both depart for different lessons.
I sit beside James and we are becoming quite close!
"I'm spending lunch with Joey." I say at last.
"Oh, okay. Have fun!" James says and walks away. He seemed upset.
I meet up with Joey and we get to know each other better! He's so funny!
He does these funny faces!
He never fails to make me laugh and smile!
~after school~
Me and Joey walked home together and we were laughing and having a good time all the way home.
When I got home I did my homework so I had the night off.
I decide to face time Kayleigh!
K: Kayleigh L: Lexie
K: hey girl!
L: hey Kay!
K:*laughs* still that nickname?
L: duh!
K: how's the situation with Joey and James?
L: it's okay I guess.
K: good to know! What do they look like?
L: *shows pictures from today*
K: OMG!! Joey looks so cute!
L: haha! I know right?
K: and James is cute I guess but not as cute as Joey! I see why you like them now!
L: I don't know who I like yet but I think I have my eye on Joey.
K: aww. First crush?
L: yeah, I'm kinda new to the whole guy thing.
K: don't worry Lex!
L: I won't! *laughs*
K: hey girl? I have to go so I'll text you later.
L: okay. See you later Kay!
K: Yasss. Byeeeeeee.
L: bye!
I hang up and I just mess around on my phone until I hear my name being called.
I look to the window and I see Joey pulling a funny face. How could I not laugh?
"Hi Joey!" I say as I take my place on my window seat.
"Hey!" He says while pulling another face.
"Have you done your homework?" I ask.
Joey looks guilty.
"Joey... We have an agreement! You have to do your homework before we can talk!" I say with a laugh.
"I'll do it after." Joey says blankly.
"Fine. What did you want to say?" I ask.
"You think I'm cute?" He asks while smirking.
"Erm, how much of me and Kayleigh's conversation did you hear?" I ask embarrassed.
"All of it!" Joey says proudly.
I blush in embarrassment and I try to say something but nothing comes out of my mouth.
"Your cute too." Joey says while I struggle to say anything.
I blush even more.
"Stop blushing!" I say over and over in my head.
"Lexie?" Joey asks from his window.
"Yeah?" I manage to say.
"Wanna come over to my house now? You can climb over from your window to mine or I can come to yours?" Joey asks hopefully.
"You can choose." I say smiling.
"You come to me." Joey says while stretching out his hand.
I take his hand and I carefully climb across.
His room was black but it looked cute.
"Nice room." I say with a smile.
"Thank you." Joey says.
"Netflix?" He asks while jumping onto his bed.
"Sure." I reply.
He pats down the bed beside him and I take my place. I thought I'd feel uncomfortable but I don't.
We start to watch a film but I fall asleep in joeys arms.
Oops was all I could think before I started to dream.
~Joeys POV~
Lexie has fallen asleep in my arms but luckily she's a deep sleeper as Tayler said he's coming over right now.
~2 minutes later~
Tayler bursts through the door and starts smirking at the sight of Lexie in my arms.
"How have you got a girl in your bed already? At the age of 14." Tayler asks coldly.
"Luck." I say while throwing a pillow at him.
I carefully leave Lexie on the bed and I start fighting with Tayler. We were being careful not to wake her!
~10:00pm~
Lexie woke up and went back home about 10 minutes ago but Tayler is still here, messing about.
He just won't leave!
I jump in bed and I decide to text Lexie.
Me: hey.
Lexie💜: hiyaaaa
Me: wyd?
Lexie💜: nothing. Wbu?
Me: texting you while Tayler is messing about.
Lexie💜: sounds very fun. Anyway, goodnight!
Me: no heart?
Lexie💜: fine, I'll correct that statement
Lexie💜: sounds very fun, anyway goodnight💕
Me: that's better. Goodnight❤️
She didn't reply after that.
All night, all I could think about was her.
But, I have no chance with her as James is close to her too!
I'll have to ask her first. Only when the time comes, only when I am certain that she will say yes to me!
