1: Schools Out

Maya is at choir practice and rehearsing the song 'Joy To The World'

It was the last day of school and her older brother, Charlie's graduation day. Farkle was into filming and got accepted into Arizona State.

As my best friend, Lauren and I were walking out of school, Charlie saw us and started to record us.

'As hordes of summer-starved teenagers descend on unsuspecting Flagstaff, Arizona.' He said with a smile on his face. 'Lets see what these two poised young woman have to say about the last day of school!' He shouted.

'I'm out of here, Riverdale!' Lauren screamed.

'Yeah, schools out, baby!' I shouted.

Lauren then blows a kiss to the camera. And I guess it's safe to say that Lauren and Charlie have a thing for each other.

Then Charlie quickly says to Lauren, 'All right. The camera loves you.'

'So Lauren, what are you doing tonight?' He asked.

'Charlie, stop hitting on my friend.' I shout.

'What ever you're' doing tonight.' Lauren then quickly adds.

'Lauren, stop hitting on my brother. Eww!' I said in a discussed way.

Charlie then started to leave.

'Hey, will you tell mom that I'm going to be late?' He says.

I looked at him in a confused way.

'But it's your graduation BBQ.' I replied.
He was still walking away from me and Lauren. He quickly turned around and said:

'I've got places to go, people to see. Just save me a burnt burger.'

Lauren and I look at each other very confused. But after that I asked for a ride home. 

Lauren dropped me off at my house.

'Thanks Lauren.' I said.

'Anytime.' She replied.

'I'll call you tomorrow, okay?' I said while getting out of her car.

'Okay, have fun tonight.' She yelled from her car.
