I was washing dishes and found even more reasons why I hate them
Like seriously
OK, personally, I hate covers that literary just has some girl standing there doing some pose
It's stupid
If it was cartoonish or silhouette, I probably might consider
But if it's a real life photo I consider that LAZINESS
WHY?
Because the cover tells me nothing! It doesn't tell me anything about the book or what happens
Take the Harry Potter and Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus series for an example. They both have these covers that tells you something about the story
Or in Athena's Mark (I forgot the name DX) you got the red owl eyes which signified an important part of Annabeth's quest, and Percy/JJason's fight
In the Baby Sitter Club, the books have the main babysitter focus while she is in a situation, that covers up why te book is probably focusing on
All Im saying is that one real life picture drawing IS NOT GONNA BE A GOOD IMPRESSION
It's literally telling me "HEY IM A STUCK UP THAT NEEDS ADULT'S ATTENTION AND IM ONLY FOR GROWN UPS AND ALL GROWN UPS SHOULD READ ME"
