"Okay, class. Pencils down. Time's up," I honestly don't know how I feel about the final. I studied all weekend. What went wrong? When class got out, I had to find Marlee. We don't have the same algebra clad together, but we're both taking the course. I found her in the lunch room at a vending machine, talking to a guy. That's weird.

"Hey, sorry to bother you. But, could I talk to Marlee real quick," the guy looked at me and then looked at Marlee. Marlee turned back to the guy. "I'll talk to you later, Carson," she said shy like. He walked away and she faced me.

"What's up?" She asked.

"How do you think you did on the Algebra final? I studied so hard and I don't think I did very well," I complained. I'm so glad I have a friend to rant to and she actually listens.

"I thought I did okay not as well as a I hoped to though,"

"Oh okay. Who was that you were talking to?" I asked. Marlee doesn't talk to boys very often. She is actually determined she has a chance with Hunter Rowland. But, like I say, a girl can dream.

"Carson Stevens. He's in my government class and he just recently started talking to me. I'm actually kind of into him,"

I gasped, "Marlee Evans is into someone that isn't Hunter Rowland!"

"Shh. He reminds me a lot of Hunter. I like that a lot,"

"Well obviously because you were just having a conversation with him,"

"Yeah. Did you tell your mom about the tickets?"

"Yeah I did. And she said if I did good on all of my finals, she'll take is both!"

"Awesome! I'll see you around. I have to go to government," she winked and left. I seriously hope I did good enough for my mom to take us to TLG. If I don't do well, Mark will be so disappointed. Well, at least I think so.

---------------------------------------------

"Hey honey. How did your algebra final go?" My mom asked when I walked I the door.

"Okay. I think I'll did just fine," I told her. Which was I lie because I thought I did terrible. I went up to my room read and for a little bit. While I was reading, I got a text from Mark. "When does school get out for you?" I replied: "Wednesday, why?" He didn't respond though. Which I thought was weird. My mom called me down because I had to take out the trash. I decided just to stay outside because it was super nice out. I sat on the porch for a long time until I heard people come down the sidewalk. I didn't know if I should go inside and ignore them or stay outside and pact like they aren't even there. I decided to stay out so I could see who it was. The two boys didn't even get to my mailbox before one of them said, "hey aren't you Marlee's friend?" I looked up. It was Carson and another guy that was super cute.

"Yeah I'm Avonlee. And who are you?"

"Oh Marlee didn't tell you already?" Yes she did, but you probably don't know who I am either. "I'm Carson, and this if my friend, Erik."

"Hey," he said in a low toned voice.

"Hi," I said back shyly.

"We were just in our way to Marlee's house to-"

"Why are you going to Marlee's?" I interrupted.

"She wanted us all to hang out. And she wanted me to introduce you to Erik," Why would Marlee try to hook me up with another guy when I'm clearly talking to Mark? I'm not really talking to him, but you get my point.

"Yeah, okay. Let me go ask my mom," I said. I turned back into the house and dialed Marlee's number.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Who is this Erik guy you wanted me to meet?" Just then, Mark was trying to call me on the other line.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey what's going on?" He said back.

"I can't really chat right now, Mark. Can I call you later?"

"Uhh sure. No problem,"

"Okay. Thank you. Bye," and I hung up. I quickly switched back to Marlee.

"Okay sorry. Back to Erik," I said.

"I figured you could get to know him,"  she replied.

"Why though? I'm talking to Mark?"

She laughed, "you seriously think you have a chance with Mark?" And she continued laughing.

"Marlee, you have no room to talk,"

"Yes I do because I'm clearly moving on. You're such a fangirl, Avonlee! Let it go," and she hung up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is only one girl, maybe not even one girl, that will come out of the fandom with Mark's heart. And that makes me so sad sometimes🙁😔
Sorry for such a slow update. I got a little busy there for a little while.
I love youuu💞
