"Jefe del helicóptero está listo." (Boss the helicopter is ready.) Nodding my head at the guard I grabbed my duffel bag walking to a bathroom in the warehouse. Seeing my pissed off expression none of the guards bothered to say anything to me. Slamming the bathroom door closed I glanced at myself in the mirror, staring back at me I almost flinched at my cold demeanour. Stripping out of my dress and underwear I stepped into the shower washing away the memories of the weekend.
Stepping out of the shower I got dressed slipping a tracking device in my bra for precautions before putting on a bulletproof vest. Throwing on a black tank top I slipped a knife in my bra pulling on my black skinny jeans slipping two guns in my waist. Sitting on the toilet seat I wrapped my foot knowing a fight was inevitable. Hearing the sound of Des and I singing I glanced around the bathroom spotting my phone on the counter I grabbed it my eyes widening when I say Des's picture come up.
"Mami." Des whispered into the phone.
"Bambina." I said my throat burning. Wiping the tears I tried so hard to keep in I smiled knowing that my baby was okay. "Bambina, are you okay?"
"Si mami. I'm scared." My chest tightened hearing her little voice crack over the phone.
"Bambina, listen to me carefully okay. I want you to stay where you are, stay hidden, stay silent. Remember what I thought you va bene?" I said carefully holding my phone between my ear and shoulder as I laced up my combat boots, grabbing my duffel bag.
"Si mami."
"Mami's coming va bene bambina. Do you have your bag? Where are you?" I asked as I walked past the guards heading to the helicopter that was on the roof.
"Si mami. Perche? I'm in the art room." I sighed into the phone. I didn't want it to come to this but it has to.
"There's a secret compartment in the back of your bag just say papi's name and it'll open. You'll find one of mummy's toys there. You remember how I taught you to use it?"
"Si mami."
"If anyone that isn't a teacher, police or student of your school I want you to do what I taught you okay?"
"Si mami. Mami I gotta go." She said frantically disconnecting the call.
"Be safe bambina." I whispered as I hopped in the helicopter shouting at the pilot to go. Pulling my hair up in a bun I didn't bother buckling up as I took out the rappelling line tying it around the foot of the seat in the helicopter. Taking out a belt filled with smoke bombs I strapped a gun to ankle and two to both legs.
Grabbing Arch's leather jacket I threw it on placing my gas mask on and sticking one in my waistband by the strap for Des. Looking outside I spotted the school, police cars formed a semicircle in front of the building, police men and women standing behind the cars waiting while others tried keeping back the unsettling crowd of parents, relatives and just persons who seemed curious.
Tapping the pilot on the shoulder I spotted the dead centre of the building. The halls had a glass roof and men were standing guard. Pointing down towards the centre of the building the pilot nodded flying towards where I pointed. Attaching the rappelling hook to a loop in my pants I grabbed my Scorpion EVO-3A1 and my MK16 slinging both over my shoulders. Good thing most classrooms were sound proof. Reaching the drop point the pilot gave me a thumbs up, not waiting any longer I jumped from the helicopter dropping three smoke bombs, aiming both guns down as I took out the guards shattering the glass ceiling in the process.
