*Lucy's POV*

"Sage I heard your voice!" Yelled Abby. He held my hand and got closer because she would have seen us in the spot we were in. Wow, he's really smart.. "Shh." He whispered. Out of the blue, the bell rang. "See you in class!" Abby yelled as she ran off to her next class. Him and I both go out of the spot we were hiding in. "I'm sorry I held your hand and got close to you, it was for the best!" He said laughing. "It's completely fine, don't do it again." I replied, giggling.

After school

Sage offered to walk me home, so I gladly accepted. "Do you wanna hang out for a bit?" I asked. "I can't, sorry I have hockey practice."

I waved good bye and ran up to by door step. I tried opening the door but it was locked. I reached into my bag and felt around for my keys, they weren't there. I looked through the window and my keys were on the counter. "Darn it.." I whispered to myself. I headed the window on the left of the door because it was my rooms window. I opened it, and started climbing through. Halfway in, I heard a voice. "Hey you stop right there!"

I turned around and it was a policeman with a gun. So i quickly climbed back up. I started running towards my backyard, and I climbed the fence "Stop!" He yelled. I ran to a piece of fence and kicked it up and went through into the forest. I let it stop moving. Since the fence was tall the policeman couldn't see me. I was back to back with the fence and I could hear him. "Shit." He yelled. I heard him leave. I ran more out into the forest, looking at the ground. As I was running I bumped into Sage. "Oof!" Sage said. "Lucy?" He said surprised. I felt a tap on my shoulder so I turned around. It was Abby. "Sage, you lied to me!" I yelled as my eyes watered up. "Hey loser look up here." Said Kaitlyn. There was a tree house. Abby pushed me and I fell to the ground. "Sage come on get up there so you can hang out with us like you told us you wanted." Said Abby looking towards me smirking. "Sage?" I asked. "What." He replied. "I didn't know you had a girlfriend." I said tearing up. I got up off the ground and ran towards my house. As I was running I could hear sage, "Lucy, wait!"

I ignored him.
