"Okay, so the shack is where we keep all the war stuff. Like armor, weapons shields, stuff like that. There is one per house." Lilly explained.
     "Per house?"
"Yeah. So all the Seekers here got parted into houses. Houses are just what we call them. They're really shacks. But not just any shack. They are huge. They are modeled into however you model it. Your house, your design. There are five different houses: SkyCity; The SandCastle; ClearWater Springs; The GrassyGrotto; and The LeafyLuxury. I'm in the GrassyGrotto. It's amazing there! We only remodeled it just a little. Oh, you should come check it out! I'm sure Slash won't mind a little more tourism."
"Sure, I'd love to! How will I find out what house I'm in?"
"Slash will tell you all about that," Lilly's voice was just so amazing, just to hear it, alive, in person, Liana was still jumping up and down inside. "Oh, we take a left over here to get to the Grotto. I will warn you, we have some mean campers here. I'll give you a nudge when we come across them."
"Them? Meaning, a lot?" Liana was hoping for a certain answer.
"Yeah there are about 7 or 8. I mean all people have their dark sides, but some only have dark sides." Lilly scanned around her and Liana.
Then Lilly gave Liana that nudge.
A girl was leaned up against a tool shed sharpening a scythe. She was wearing ripped black jeans, a shirt that obviously had the sleeves ripped off, and it had some symbol on the front of it, and she was wearing black work boots. And dark makeup. Everything about her was dark. Her soul probably matched her shirt: ripped and disturbing. She looked about Liana's age.
"That's Jade," Lily whispered. "She's, well, she's not someone you want to be near when she's mad. Or at all. Just stay clear of her."
The girl called Jade looked up, and noticed Lily and Liana looking at her. "What do you two want?" She snapped. "You," she motioned to Liana. "I haven't seen you before."
"Y- yeah. I just got here today." Liana half-smiled. "I'm Lian-"
"Yeah, I don't care who you are. And I don't need a newbie interrupting my day." Jade pointed away from her.
"Okaay." Liana muttered under breath. Lily nodded to a kid sitting under a tree, reading something.
"C'mon." The two walked off into the trees. Jade's eyes followed their movements at a glare until she got bored of them.
"Jeez." Liana looked back at Jade, but she wasn't there anymore. "Wait, where is she?"
Lily winced, and ignored her question. "You don't want to be in battle practice with her, she treats it like actual battle."
Liana wasn't listening to Lily anymore. Jade just disappeared. Literally. And Lily knows something. Something that she shouldn't.
There are secrets here. Bad secrets. "Lily?"
"Yeah."
"What goes on here?"
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing."
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, never mind."
And then a third voice was added to their conversation. "Where are you from?"
It made Liana jump, but Lily was perfectly calm.
"Who said that?" Liana snapped.
"What?" Lily seemed to not have heard.
And that third voice repeated, "Where are you from?"
"Who's there?" Liana looked all around her but didn't see anyone.
"Liana, what are you talking about?" Lily seemed kind of concerned.
"Didn't you hear that?"
"What?"
"That voice. You didn't hear it?"
"Liana, there's no voice. Are you feeling okay?"
"Um, yeah."
Then something grabbed Lily by the back of her shirt and threw her into a tree.
"Lily!" Liana bolted over to her sister. "Lily, Lily, say something." Liana was trying to stay calm, but she saw no sign of anyone or anything, so she was shaking in fear.
Lily's eyes flickered a little, and she brushed the hair out of her face.
"Oh my god, Lily, are you okay?" Liana lifted Lily's head from the ground.
Lily took a breath. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm okay."
"Are you sure? Here, try to stand." Liana took her sister's hand, and helped her up.
Lily stood at ease, and brushed herself clean of the leaves that stuck to her clothes. "Yeah, I'm good."
"How are you not hurt?" Liana was 100% confused. Her sister was just thrown into a tree by an invisible who-knows-what, and was completely fine. What the hell.
"What was that?" Lily looked around. Then an expression of understanding came through her. "Oh."
"What?" Liana was still dazed.
"Nothing. You'll talk to Slash."
"What's going on?"
