Chapter 3: I miss you

I was in my new room thinking about my sister. I wanted to go see her but she wasn't in the castle. She was in a dungeon away from the castle. I walked out and saw Katelyn crying in her hands. She looked liked she been there for a while.

"Katelyn what's wrong?" She looks up and looks startled.

" Jeffory is missing and I can't find him!" She started crying more. Then with a sigh of relief I saw Garroth, and Jeffory. Jeffory mouthed to me, Let me handle this. I nodded and moved away.

" So Katelyn did you miss me?" Katelyn looked up and saw Jeffory. She smiled big and kissed him. His eyes got big but then he got use to it. I walked over to Garroth and was bugged eyed. We both face palmed.

" Okay love birds. Jeffory care to explain to Katelyn what happened?" They finished there kiss and Jeffory explained everything.

15 long minutes later
After Jefforys story 🙄

" Oh so you were just on a trip. I wish you told me." Katelyn wondered. Like usual.

"So DAD why didn't you tell Katelyn and I? And where was Garroth this whole time?" I asked. Garroth bit his lip and Jeffory twirled his fingers around.

" Sweetheart I... Um.... We..... Uh.... We went to the over world and were spy's for a few days." My eyes got huge so did Katelyns.

"Who were you spying on Dad?!"

"Honey I can't say."

"Dad please. TELL ME!" I had so much anger inside me that I transformed in my Jury Of Nine form. Thank Irene not my Shadow Knight form.

I ran off. Jeffory, Katelyn, and Garroth right behind me. I ran even faster. They had lost me. Thankfully. 

I ran into my room and fell on my bed. I didn't realize it but because of my transformation I had scars on my arm. I never told anyone of my one power that makes me special. My singing powers. I thought of my sister and sang my favorite song.

Once I was done I realized I had an audience. Garroth, Katelyn, and Jeffory was there. Katelyn was crying, Jeffory comforted her,and Garroth was tearing up.

"Hey how long have you guys been there?" I ask they all finally realized I noticed them.

"Well doesn't matter. Why didn't you tell me that this was a power of yours?" I couldn't answer because Zane came to my room and said,

" Jeffory, Katelyn, Garroth, (Y/N) A shadow knight has escaped."

"WHAT!" Jeffory was angry. Katelyn held him back and I laid my head on his shoulder. Katelyn let go and Jeffory ran angry. I teleported myself in front of the portal. The shadow knight was right out side the portal. Jeffory was running towards it. I was going to tell him to stop when I collapsed. My vision became blurry.

I woke up in my room. With Katelyn, Jeffory, and Garroth. We were quiet for a moment when one of Zanes guard requested for Jeffory and I. They pulled us out of the room and put cuffs on our hands. Jeffory and I exchanged looks.

We walked into Zane's studies. Zane told us to sit so we did.

" Jeffory you have done well. But you are no use to me anymore. Sweet sweet (Y/N) you need more training." He looked at Jeffory evilly. He let go of our cuffs. Zane pushed me away from Jeffory and did the most horrid thing. He KILLED MY DAD. I transformed into both forms.

" YOU KILLED MY DAD! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" I charged at him but the guards had a tight grip. They threw me out of the room. I saw Jeffory lay there motionless. I got out of the guards grip and ran. I hid behind a wall. Crying with my head in my hands.

Katelyns POV

Garroth and I were trying to find (Y/N) and Jeffory when we heard crying. Garroth ran a head and took an emergency stop. He told me to come quick. I ran as quick as possible.

I saw (Y/N) sitting there with her head in her hands.

"You okay? What happen? Where's Jeffory?" She looked up. She has been crying for a while. I could tell.

" I- I am f-fine. Jeffory he's..... Um...... He's...... Uh...... D-Dead!"

"What he can't be. This couldn't have happened."

Your POV

I can't believe I told Katelyn everything.

Garroth took us back to my house. He he told me to pack up.

"(Y/N) you will be leaving. It isn't safe here. Good luck."

"What I can't leave without Katelyn!"

" She will be fine. She's got me. Look for The shadow knight while your at it."

I talked to going into Garroth and now we are all going. I can't leave them behind so yeah. We headed for the portal and jumped threw.
