Chapter 1: The Beginning

15 year old self

My brother, sister, and I were going to see if our dad was home when James fell over something. It looked like a book? A potion bottle? I don't know. Jennifer and I ran over to James to see if he was okay. All he did was jump up and run towards the back door. My sister and I fell over and laughed. We ran to the back door. When we got there it- wasn't pleasant. Everyone but my father, Jennifer and I were, I think....... Dead!

"What's going on?" I asked Jennifer. Jennifer pulled me back and told me to hide. I heard an evil laugh.

"Dad?" I whispered to myself. His eyes were full of tears. Jennifer looked terrified.

A guy in a black cape walked towards us, he had two guards. One which looks like a girl, another which a meifa girl. The girl guard grabbed Jennifer and the meifa grabbed me, and took Jennifer and I by the arm and separated us.

1 hour later

It was a cold trip to a giant black castle. I was trembling with fear. I didn't know what to do.

" Michi take her to the cell at the bottom of the castle. I will deal with her later." Zane said evilly.

"Yes boss Nya~" Michi said while holding my arms hard and pushing me to move. Of course I didn't want to, but I had a feeling I could get out of this one.

About 5 minutes later Michi threw me into this dumb cell. I was so mad. She had to knock me out a few times. OUT OF ALL THE PEOPLE A MEIFA TOOK ME OUT. LIKE REALLY?! My shadow knight form was starting to show. I started to cool down though. Then out of no where that Zane guy comes up to my cell.

" Well hello there Princess. I have three people I want you to meet." He stared into my eyes with evil. Then three people walk up next to him. One had blue hair and was holding hands with the one next to her. The one next to her had brown hair and green eyes. The last one had shaggy golden blonde hair, and icy sky blue eyes.

" This is Katelyn, Jeffory, and Garroth. These are the best Jury Of Nine members in here. I want you to train and be a Jury Of Nine. If you refuse your sister will die." Zane said trying to tick me off. I stared at him with concern, then Katelyn, Jeffory, and Garroth looked at me and said something under there breath. They said it over and over. I finally got what they were saying.

They said," We can help you. Say yes!" I nodded and looked at Zane.
