Chapter 7: It's my choice

Your POV

I was laying on top of Laurence. My cheeks turned a bright red and I felt them become warm. I hurry and try to get off him. All he does is puts his hands around my waist and pulls me closer. He leans me in for a kiss but I pull away. 'Does he know that would have been my first kiss. He probably does now.' I remember he can read my mind.

He started snickering. I just glared at him. He finally let me go and said,

" Why did you leave (Y/N)?" I knew he could sense all of my emotions. I couldn't hide it.

"I wanted to make my half mom happy." Katelyn looked surprised at what I just said.

"Wait what do you mean half mom?" She started to have tears rolling down her eyes.

"Wait Jeffory didn't tell you." She shook her head no.

"Before the whole getting killed instant he was going to ask you to marry him. That would have made you my adopted mom. But since that didn't happen you are still considered my half mom." Tears pored down her eyes. I just walked away.

Laurence POV

(Y/N) wasn't telling us something. And I am going to find out.

I followed her towards the portal. She stood there for a few second when I broke the silence by saying,

"What aren't you telling us?"

Your POV

I knew Laurence was behind me but I just continued towards the portal.

We were silenced for a minute until he said,

"What aren't you telling us?" He could sense the fear. I suddenly looked up at him and slowly grabbed the handle of the sword. He stepped backwards and continued doing that. We withdrew our swords.

"(Y/N) please tell me. I don't want to have to hurt you. Please?" He started having tears down his face. I still didn't feel sorry. He was far enough away for me to teleport myself to the portal. I ran right threw.

I then used my singing magiks and closed the portal.

It was finally shut. But when I turned around I had company. I was overwhelmed with Shadow Souls.

I fought my way threw as hard as I could. When I wasn't looking a Shadow Soul grabbed one of my arms then another. Then I was covered with them. I could feel my Shadow Knight form coming out. I tried to fight it. I was no use I just gave up and just let them take me over. It was then pitch black.

Laurence POV

I ran towards where the portal was and it wasn't there. No ashes no nothing. I ran towards where I last saw Garroth and Katelyn. They had built a shelter.

"Laurence what's wrong? Where's (Y/N)?" Garroth looked worried.

"Garroth, (Y/N) went threw the portal. I could usually make one but there was no ashes or chips of the portal. It was closed with her magiks." Garroth eyes got big. I knew what was going to happen. I grabbed the edge of my sword. He came running and almost hit me but I blocked it with my sword.
