"Are you sure you want to do this?"
I ask, turning around to see the most beautiful woman in the world.

Her newly dyed brown ombré hair hung around her shoulders, slightly fluttering in the wind. She turns around to face me, those beautiful sea green eyes glistening with curiosity and anxiousness, yet there was something hopeful about them. I tilt my head towards the sky, it's dark and light blue tones giving me some comfort in this heart-pounding moment.
Tonight was going to be the stupidest night of my life. This was not me. Not one bit. I was never the one to sneak out, or do something adventurous. Suddenly, the girl twirls around, flashing me a big smile, recognizing my fear.
" Jay, we'll only be gone a few hours. I can get you back in time before your mom starts to become suspicious." She pauses, intertwining her small fingers into mine. " Just trust me."
I nod, my eyes scanning the glistening skyscrapers and buildings of Tuscan. A calm passes through me, and I exhale my fear bravely.
"We won't go to jail for this, will we?" I question, and she rolls her eyes.
" Do you always question something before you do it?" I shrug my shoulders. Violet gives  an exasperated sigh, yet a small grin begins to form on her face. " Nah, we're good Jay. Tonight..." she trails off, turning around to face me, her face softening. " Tonight, be an average teenager doing some average things with an average girl. Tonight, make these short hours something that you'll remember forever."
" Alright," I say, creeping toward the edge of the building. I take a deep breath as Violet steps next to me. " Alright," I repeat, hoping not to annoy Violet.

And with a leap of faith, we jump off the building.
