Alexis was only seven years old brunette girl with chubby cheeks and a birthmark on her lower lips when she met a boy with a shaggy blonde hair.
Her emeral green eyes sparked when she saw his deep blue eyes. "hey, what's your name?" alexis ask the unknown boy.
"not if you tell your name first" the boy smiled playfully at alexis as she tried to think if she would give him her name or not.
"I'm Alexis. Now would you let me know your name now?" she asked him with those hopeful emerald green eyes and hopeful smile which made her cheeks even chubbier.
"Nice to meet you Alexis. My name is Ev----" he was cut off by a person who pulled his hands away which was he only realize is his mother when they got in the car.
On that amazing day, Alexis promised not to fall in love with anyone else but him. The boy only. And at that exact day she always visits the playground where she met him hoping he would come back. But he didn't.
When she entered her classroom, she remembered it has been awhile now. That was about ten years ago. There is only one year left to finish her highschool years. Up until now, from hundreds or even thousands of her suiter she rejected each of everyone of them. Not even a single name that starts with Ev.
She sat down on her chair with tiredness wich created a soft thud from the chair. She began impatient as she taps her nails on her desk waiting for the teacher to come.
How ironic that she is able to wait for the boy even if it takes for centuries just to love him but for a teacher that would take minutes she is ready to kill that teacher of hers.
Finally the teacher walked in, an unfamiliar student with him that caught her attention as he began introducing "Hi my name is Nathan..."
As soon as she heard the name Nathan she ignored his introduction disappointed of not having his name as Ev.
After Nathan's introduction he is assigned to seat by Alexis of all people. She doesn't like to sit with anyone especially boys.
With Nathan's deep blue eyes and killer smile Alexis tried to look away from him but failed miserably. "like the view?" he said cockily to Alexis as she tried to look away from him to the board.
Nathan is very handsome that every lady that would see would fall inlove with him instantly. Alexis is very deniable, she denies that she likes him.
She ignored him for the for the rest of the day, she would only talk to him if necessary. She was walking at the corridor only to notice that Nathan is infront of her walking for home too.
She also notice that everytime some girls would ask him to exchange numbers or even walk home with him he would always answer no but in kind and gentle ways.
She was amaze that even the cute girls and annoying girls he would reject them gently unlike her, she would reject them and make them go away harshly.
On her way home she would always buy her favorite snack which is hamburger, and go visit the playground where she met HIM.
She wpuld always go to the swings and sit there while eating her snack. But today it was different.
"Alexis are you stalking me?" Nathan asked his back facing her. She sat down on the other swing and began eating her snack "No" was her only answer.
Nathan pouted as he tried to ignore the snack in Alexis's hands "what" she asked with the food still in her mouth making it blury to speak.
"can I have some?" Nathan pouted more.
"no" was his only answer.
After Alexis finished her snack Alexis tried to start a conversation,"so why are you here" she asked curiously. She just can't let a stranger take her place.
"no, what are you doing here" Nathan asked back.
"I'm here because this place is special to me since I was seven" she smiled genuinely as she remembered her first love. Even though they only had a few conversation she fell inlove. Alexis like everything about him, his hair, his cute red lips, theway his dimples deepen as he smile mostly his deep blue eyes.
"funny how this is also my special place" Nathan chuckled at this coincidence. Alexis turned to the side to look at Nathan with confuse eyes "this is also the last place where I went before moving"
"this was also the place where I was about to tell that girl my name but my mom yanked me" Nathan continued, he didn't notice Alexis's wide eyes and shocked expression and mumbling 'impossible'.
"and from that day on I would never look to any other girls but her. What was your reason why were you're here again?"
Alexis recovered from her shockness and answered Nathan's question by shouting, "I said this is my special place!" she shouted with disbelief "I met a boy. The boy i fell inlove with unitl today"
"Then tell me what is his name" he didn't ask, he demand for his name. But with a gentle sweet tone.
She looked away from Nathan's intense look. She didn't like Nathan so why blush? Why was she open to him? "I-i only heard Ev from ----"
"meant to be! I was going to say my name Evan but was cut by my mom" he chuckled loudly from exciteness "when i was young i used to use my name Evan, not Nathan"
"she was my only love. First and last love. I never look anyone the way I look at her"
"so that's why you rejected all their phone numbers and ignore their invitation to walk with those cute girls because of her? Me?" Nathan nodded with a big smile as an answer.
"Yup! So, I guess you are the girl I'm looking for then" Nathan stand up behind my back and back hugged me...
After five years. Evan is pacing back and forth in the corridor in front of a room, hearing Alexis's scream of not-so-colorful words that makes his heart aches at the point he wanted to go back in there and attack the doctor and switch his position.
Once screaming is over a nurse came out if the room to tell him officially that it is over and they are having their twins "the three of them are alive!" she sang happily although as soon as she said the word 'alive' Evan already is inside.
"well so much for breaking the news" the nurse muttered and went back inside.
Evan is right beside his wife intertwining their hands together, Alexis who is holding two healthy child. "what would you like to call them gorgeous?" Evan asks his wife.
"Allen... And ... ... Rina" she looked at him as she smile happily at him.
"wonderful" Evan compliment as he smiled back at her with clear affection in his eyes
