When Sam got out of surgery and was still asleep , the doctor was talking with Anara The doctor said,
" We removed the bullet, it shattered part of her bone and tore some muscle. She also lost quite a bit of blood but other than that she is just fine. We will need her to keep eating and drinking a lot to regain her strength."
"Thank you Dr. Anderson," Anara said.
"Please, call me Kacey," the doctor replied.
"Mom," croaked Sam.
"Baby, you're awake"
"I guess that now you're awake and conscious, it's time to do the tests we couldn't before," Dr. Kacey said.
After all the test results were in, they were told they all came back okay and that the medical staff were going to put Samantha onto a four meal a day schedule. Sam was also going to have to stay in the hospital for another week at least.
