If someone knocks on the door 4 times, say: why is it always 4? The whovian will either start thinking real hard or crying, you can have mixed emotions about this one. It's probably best not to say it. But you can just to see their reaction. They might not even notice the reference.
Reason: Wilfred knocks four times when he's stuck in the case and The Tenth Doctor realizes he has to kill himself to save him.
The Twelfth Doctor asks why is it always 4 in finale of season 9 because there are 4 knocks on the door. It's funny because you remember The Tenth Doctor right before he says it and you feel more connected to The Doctor that way.
