Brendon's POV
"That's our baby."
My heart flutters every time I remind myself, he said those words. Our baby. I sit down on the couches in the living room and put my hands over my stomach.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Keltie Colleen stands in the threshold, glaring at me.
"I um..." Ryan slides into the room, grabbing Keltie's arm.
"What the fuck is he doing here?!" Keltie repeats, this time to Ryan.
"You can't just come into my house like that Keltie!"
"I'm your girlfriend! Not some guy who says he's pregnant with your kid! You said it yourself! He's lying!"
"No he's not." Ryan says flatly. He's starring right into her eyes, so seriously. "You should leave."
"Are you kidding me?! You're choosing him over me?!"
"He's having my baby Keltie."
"So fucking what?!" At this point Ryan's mom has come into the room and is taking me away from Keltie and Ryan. "He's the stupid whore! Not me!" Ryan shuts his eyes and takes it. "That baby shouldn't even exist! He should've gotten a fucking abortion, cause no one wants to deal with a whores baby!" And that's where I draw the the line.
"Who do you think you are Keltie?!" I yell, pulling out of Mrs. Ross grip. "You have no right to talk about my baby like that!"
"Who do you think you are stealing my boyfriend?!"
"It was his choice to cheat on you!"
"Kill yourself, Brendon Urie!"
"Hey!" Ryan yells, pushing Keltie away from me. "That's enough! I'm done with you Keltie! Get out of my house!"
"He's only being nice to you, because he has to." Keltie growls before she leaves. I try to hold back tears, but I can't fight it. Maybe I'll take Keltie's advice. Maybe I will kill myself.
"Brendon." Ryan approaches me and slowly put his hand on my shoulder, testing his boundaries. I fall into his arms. "Don't listen to her, okay? She's just a cruel bitch. I want to be here for you."
"You don't have to lie... I can take care of myself." I hold onto the front of his shirt tighter as he runs his hand up and down my back.
"I'm not lying. I promise."
"Will you come with me when I tell my mom and dad?"
"Yeah... I will."
"Thank you."
***
Mom and Dad sat in front of me, sharing the couch, looking worried. I on the other hand was passing around the room. "Honey, just tell us. Please." Mom says. "And wouldn't you rather do this without your friend?" She asks, gesturing to Ryan.
"No. He has to be here." I look to Ryan and he nods at me. No turning back now. "Okay... I don't even know where to begin. Okay... ah... remember in ninth grade, when I told you a boy in school kissed me? And I punched him in the face because of it?"
"Yes, we were proud of you for that. You can't let a fag kiss you and get away with it." I cringe at the statement and take a deep breath.
"Well... I didn't punch him in the face." Dad arches a brow at me. "I actually kissed him back and we ended up having sex in the boys locker room." Mom gasp and I swear Dad's eyes are going to pop out of his skull. "That was when I first realized I really liked boys."
"I can't believe this! We've raised you so-"
"Let me finish!" I yell. Mom is eyeing up Ryan like she knows something. "As you may have noticed, I've been putting on weight."
"Ohmigod... Please don't say it." Mom is crying now.
"It's because I'm pregnant and Ryan is the father." Dad rises to his feet and looks me straight in the eyes.
"Get out."
"But Dad, I-"
"Get out now!" I feel a stinging pain on the left side of my face, and then a hard shove, throwing me to the floor. My dad was attacking me. I couldn't comprehend much other than my Mom and Ryan yelling. I didn't fight back, I deserve this. Forgive me father, for I have sinned.
Then my dad's heeled shoe lands on my stomach, putting down a small amount of pressure. "This baby shouldn't have the right to live." My dad growls. I grab his foot, trying to lift it from my stomach, but he's too strong.
"Please. Please!" I cry. Please not my baby. "I beg of you!"
"Get off him!" Ryan's voice yelps. He charges at my dad but being a large man, my dad simply pushes him away.
"Boyd stop!" That was Mom. She didn't want him to hurt me? I don't understand.
"He needs to learn his lesson." My sight has begun to blur because of the tears in my eyes.
"God, help me!" My voice wavers.
"God doesn't help sinners!" His foot lets up on my stomach, but only so he can move it to my neck. He's trying to kill me.
"Please Boyd! Stop!" My head is getting foggy and black spots start to cloud my vision. "You're hurting him!" I hear sirens. Someone called 911. Dad is pulled off of me and Ryan is quickly at my side. He puts a hand on my stomach.
"Is-is the baby okay?" I stuttered.
"I don't know... I think it should be, but I honestly don't know. I'm so sorry Bren. I tried to help. I just couldn't. He was too strong."
"I forgive you." Ryan wipes his eyes free of tears and he places a kiss on my forehead.
