Elvira stood at the figurehead of the Dawn Treader when she saw the three bobbing figures. She called out to Caspian and, transforming into her human form, jumped in. She swam over to one of them, who recognised her.

"Vira?" he called.

"Edmund," she replied excitedly.

"Lucy, it's Vira!" Edmund called. Elvira wrapped her arm around his waist and pulled him over to the Dawn Treader.

"You're safe now," she said. She grabbed the rope and it pulled both of them up.

"Are we in Narnia?" Edmund asked.

"Yes, you are," Elvira replied. She looked to one of the crew and asked for a towel for Edmund. She wrapped it around him. He hugged Elvira tightly, ignoring his wet clothing.

"It's great to see you," she said, looking at him.

"It great to see you!" he replied, "Didn't you call for us?"

"No, not this time," she said, slightly confused.

"Well, whatever the case, I'm just glad to be here," Edmund said, still holding onto her, excitement and joy in his eyes. A scream snapped both of their heads around.

"Ahh! Get that thing off me! Get that thing off me!" it was another Son of Adam. A small bundle of fur covered his face. It was Reepicheep.

"Reepicheep!" Lucy said excitedly. The mouse turned and bowed as he said,

"Your Majesty."

"Hello, Reep. What a pleasure," Edmund said.

"The pleasure is all mine sir. But first, what to do about this, this hysterical interloper?" Reepicheep asked, referring to the other boy.

"That giant rat thing just tried to claw my face off!" said the boy. Elvira narrowed her gaze at the boy, already taking a distaste to this one.

"I was merely trying to expel the water from your lungs, sir," Reepicheep explained. The boy pointed at him. It was evidently his first time experiencing Narnia.

"He talks! Did anyone see that? He just talked!" he said, in horror.

"He always talks," said the Captain.

"Actually, it's getting him to shut up that's the trick," Caspian said, causing a few of the sailors to chuckle.

"The moment there is nothing to be said, Your Highness, I promise you I will not say it," Reepicheep said.

"I don't know what kind of prank this is. I wanna wake up right now!" said the boy. Elvira crossed her arms, this Son of Adam really starting to irk her.

"Perhaps we can throw him back?" she suggested, causing Edmund to chuckle.

"And being abducted by a kind of zeepiraten carnival. I demand to know just where in the blazes am I?"

"You're on the Dawn Treader. The finest ship in Narnia's navy," said Tavros the Minotaur, proudly. Catching one sight of him, the small boy fainted. Elvira chuckled as Tavros turned and asked, "Was it something I said?" She smiled at him.

"See to him for me," Caspian said to him. Tavros bowed and picked him up. Caspian jumped up to the bow of the ship and turned to the sailors.

"Men. Behold our castaways. Edmund the Just and Lucy the Valiant. High King and Queen of Narnia," he said. The sailors bowed down and the two monarchs turned to them. Lucy turned to Elvira and grinned excitedly. She smiled in return.

The two children, Caspian and Elvira walked into Caspian's room. Edmund and Lucy looked around in awe. Lucy's eyes went to the sculpture of Aslan in the room.
